Stayed here for 4 nights. I was worried after reading previous reviews about NYE and people not getting their room and waiting all day to check in. Thankfully this was not the case for us, it seems as though there was some major mess up at NYE time. We arrived just at about check in time 2pm and were shifty checked in. We stayed in private room and the room was spotlessly clean. Good bed, shower and huge smart TV. Rooms cleaned everyday to high standard. New towels in room daily and beach towels available at the pool area. If you want to get a good night sleep it’s best to avoid this hotel. The music from surrounding bars and clubs is incredibly loud until about 4am in the morning (if not later). We got used to it as the days went on but it was the worst I’ve ever experienced in terms of noise from surrounding areas. The facilities were good - pool tables, dart boards, TVs all over the reception area, games (connect 4, etc.) and loads of chill out area spaces. There is also a fresh filtered water dispenser on each floor which gives boiling, cold and sparking water which was really convenient. We did not use the bar facilities as we thought the drinks were overpriced for the setting. If you are marketing yourself as a hostel hotel type vibe it makes no sense that drinks are more expensive than a lot of the bars 2 steps away. We also did not try the speakeasy but this was our own choice - drinks are more expensive there too but you expect expensive drinks in a speakeasy bar. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, location is good in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Koh Samui and the hotel was overall extremely well up-kept. Would give it a skip if you are older or if you expect a good night sleep every night.

The check in was a disaster, tok one hour in line to check in! Great design on the whole place, social area is great and the pool and bar is awesome! Pink sand is funny! The pool is about cloudy might be because it rained. The room is small but very smart and practical with everything you need. However the toilet is 1,5m from the bed and if I was sharing room I would be uncomfortable doing toilet business with only a glass wall between. Not much privacy. If you vary with sounds when you sleep then this place might not be for you, music playing untill late and the door to the room could have been more sound proof. Good breakfast, good drinks, friendly staff and good value! Great location for party in Koh Samui!

Location is great! The rooms looks good! Comfort bed and you have all u need inside.. The waiting for a breakfast was too long more then 30 min, so book it without it will be better!

I stayed one nigh at SocialTel and unfortunately, the stay was a bit unlucky. They somehow heavily overbook the rooms, so my check-in took about 8 hours which is quite annoying for only one night. In addition, they did not say sorry once or offer a drink or anything as compensation. They handled this situation very poorly. However, it would be unfair to rate the hosel just based on this incident.Overall, the rooms are nice and clean and the hostel is in a good location in Chaweng.
