        So, we booked two nights here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room was perfect. A good size with a well equipped kitchenette, comfy big bed and even a lounge area. Sonder Chelsea is well positioned for visiting tourist sites in London and Chelsea itself offers a host of unique shops and a great Saturday street market. Our only complaint was the continental breakfast. We arrived at 09:30 the first morning and there was very little left. We had to ask for bread and plates. The staff at the front desk however were great and very helpful. But for the breakfast, the rest of the experience was great.

        The staff was excellent, providing the best customer service. The rooms were immaculate, and the location was amazing. The breakfast exceeded expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it as the perfect place in London

        Had a spacious queen room which was great for the two of us. Ideal location between South Ken and Chelsea. Mattress , pillows linens are functional but not particularity soft or comfortable. Wish there’d been a ring in the room - wood floor a little slippery as was the bath tub. Great, friendly service - a bit of a glitch finding someone to help collect our luggage fro. The luggage room but managed it after 5+ minutes. Nice breakfast - good selection of pastries, toast, yogurt, veg and hummus. Fresh OJ and great coffee machine if you pause long enough to read and follow the clear directions. Overall, great value for the price!!

        Excellent. Was honestly surprised at this hotel choice. Rooms were spacious and very clean and the hotel location is excellent. On top of all this, you don't have to lift a finger to check in at the reception, as they have an option where you complete check-in requirements before your stay. They send you a code for your room and main door of the hotel, and you can come straight in on your first day without even having to see the reception.

        Warning! Do not book this hotel as it is indeed a scam. Hugely disappointed in our stay and will request a refund/heavily discounted price. Sonder Chelsea Green markets itself as a 4 star hotel, unfortunately it is indeed not. Not even close. The location is great and sure, from the outside it looks great. On the inside? Well. Dirty bathrooms, mold (!) in the bathtube, broken windows as well as in our case, also a broken bathroom door. Not to be forgotten: the door is also transparent so there is no privacy whatsoever when using the bathroom. The whole hotel also seems to be operated by extremly young staff (teenagers?) and there’s no adult management to be seen anywhere. On our first day, we complained in the reception about the dirty bathroom, the broken door as well as the broken window (which also happen to face the street outside) and the staff told us they would look into it. However, this did not happen. The breakfast mostly consisted of white sugar, an Espresso machine that seemed to cause all guest problems and poorly planned logistics and questionable hygiene routines in the area. We were quite astonished by the overall lack of professionalism. You certainly do not expect the staff to turn up to work at ”a 4 star hotel” dressed in sweatpants, looking like they just got out of bed themselves. Neither do you expect staff to start their day at work by queing among the guests to the coffee machine… Unfortunately, that is exactly the case here. On our second day when we arrived at breakfast, we were told it was running a bit late today. We then watched the staff start the breakfast preparations which should have been done at least an hour before breakfast opening hours. Meanwhile, we sat at a table surrounded by someone’s garbage from yesterday which apparently had not been taken care of. Yet again, you do not expect your breakfast to be accompanied by someone’s shoelaces and plastic forks (sic) when you think you have booked a four star hotel. We are deeply disappointed in our stay and cannot recommend this establishment for anyone.
