We loved how clean the space was, the view was phenomenal and it gave us a home away from home. They provided us with everything including Tide pods for laundry. We will definitely use Sonder again whenever we travel but Sonder South Wabash was the best. We were 15 minutes or less to most of the city pass locations and there were lots of good restaurants within walking distance. The guard and house keeping were friendly and nice.

This apartment was perfect for the 5 of us to stay in. Two rooms each with a queen/full bed and then a pull out sofa in the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast everyday. When we got there early, we were able to store our luggage at the property for free and go out and explore the city until the apartment was ready to be checked into. There was a security there each evening in the main lobby which was nice to see. It was good to have private spaces and public spaces for the whole family while we stayed over Christmas. The building is about 2 blocks away from Jewel Osco and Trader Joes, which were both decently sized grocery stores. The metro station is 2 blocks away to catch the green, orange, or red line subways. It is situated for an easy & pleasant walk to the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, and Soldier Field. You can take a simple bus ride up and down Michigan ave to get deeper into the city or further south towards Hyde Park. This area is also the Wabash Arts Corridor, there are many murals in the 4-6 blocks north of this building. Very fun to explore! We enjoyed that this was a much less hectic neighborhood to walk around than being in the more tourist centered areas. When we got to the apartment, there was a small issue that the support teams took care of immediately. From the time I contacted the Customer Service team to having the on premise team arrive was less than 30 minutes and it was easily taken care of. The team was prompt in responding to every question I had before and after our stay. Highly recommend staying here next time you are visiting Chicago.

Price point is definitely a factor to consider as the rates are vary widely depending on when you stay. We had a non-flushing toilet upon arrival that we had to endure overnight (maintenance on site could not fix it) and until close to 11 AM the following day (after I complained a couple more times on their app). They did offer some compensation for the inconvenience but we had to get Expedia involved to actually receive it. There is no common area bathroom on site so that was not an option either. The furnishings are sparse but doable, rugs looked on the worn side and a bit dirty, there were no baking pans provided so we had to run out in the evening to buy from the grocery store. We could hear our neighbors through the shared interior wall. I paid around $120/night for a mid-December stay which I felt was a great value for the location and space size. If I got the same room at the same rate, I would stay again (testing that toilet immediately upon entering). Buyer beware, those pretty photos they advertise are not always what you get. Views and furnishing vary between rooms. There is an alley behind the building where trash trucks come daily around 5 AM and one dumpster is literally your "city view" if you are assigned those rooms. Checking reviews on several sites will help you decide if the risks outweigh the rewards.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
