Perfect spot for brunch or lunch after the beach. The food is delicious and the outside tables provide a lovely, chilled environment. There are some affordable items on the menu but in general it is quite pricey. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, but the service is exceptionally slow - for example, we had to hunt someone down inside the hotel to pay our bill. I think they may be understaffed in terms of waiters so it is something that could be improved upon quite easily. We will keep going back though for the location and food!

Had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Sonnekus last night. Such a lovely atmosphere and beautifully curated space. I loved the art and decor and the service staff were so incredibly friendly! We had a delicious breakfast and the BEST choc chip cookies ever (complimentary to the room). Coffee at the cafe was great too. I loved that it was all so comfortable and not at all ostentatious like so many other hotels tend to be.

My family and I checked in here on 22 December and will be leaving on 26 December. The hotel has a charming old world feel with tasteful modern finishes. The location is exceptional but the absolute highlight for us was the exceptional service from the staff.Most notably Monye who went out of his way to make Christmas Eve and Christmas Day magical for our twin boys.He lit a fire, played Christmas carols and gave them a complimentary hot chocolate. These small things make the world of difference . We will certainly be back! Thank you Sonnekus.In a world of big chain hotels you offer something far superior...a genuine warmth and old fashioned hospitality.

Awesome hospitability! Together with me wife we spent a few days of a great time here. This is the place when while eating breakfast you can see the whales in the ocean. The hotel staff is helpful with anything and makes this place very welcome. Our room had a fireplace and in winter season we had an infinite access to the wood to make our room super warm and the best place in the world! Absolutely the hotel worth to be there!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sonnekus , and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the coffee - it was simply outstanding. But it wasn't just the coffee that impressed me; the staff at Sonnekus were incredibly friendly and welcoming. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a valued guest. Their warm smiles and attentive service added a special touch to my visit. And I can't forget to mention the chocolate chip cookies! My daughter couldn't get enough of them. I can't wait to return for another cup of their delicious brew.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Please be aware that fulfilling these requests may result in additional charges.

The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
