This hotel was conveniently located and recently priced, I did find the rooms a little bit small but I think that's to be expected for this area. There was a little bit of walking to get to the trams, but still very reasonable. After hours to check in is done via computer, the only issue here is to ensure that you have your reservation number or that your name is correctly spelled in the reservation. They do store baggage afterwards and also have a similar way of getting your bags when there's no one left at the desk. Breakfast was pretty good, but not extravagant.

The hotel itself is Ok, nothing fancy, the rooms are spacious, but kinda old and used. The breakfast was good. Also, It is located in a nice area. We found someone's else clothes in a drawer, and as we were there with our little one she accidentally break a bottle and we put the clean sign on the door and we made a pile of the broken glass near the trashcan, but as we got back everything was arranged but the pile of broken glass was still there so we had to collect the pieces.

The hotel is located at a good location, walkable distance from Zurich station. The rooms are clean and spacious. Room service is superb and a special thanks to Daime who took care of the room service. Also, Ana Carolina helped us with other services and thank you for that. Only drawback is that this hotel doesn't have a central air conditioning. Would have been better if we were given air coolers

I am incredibly disappointed with the service I have received from Sorell Hotel Rex. Despite my attempts to seek clarification regarding an unauthorized card processing error, the hotel not only failed to provide a satisfactory explanation but also unilaterally canceled my booking. This lack of communication and the arbitrary cancellation of my reservation have left me frustrated and inconvenienced. Such disregard for customer concerns is unacceptable. I strongly advise against choosing Sorell Hotel Rex for your accommodation needs. The handling of this situation reflects poorly on their professionalism and customer service. 1 star is a generous rating considering the experience I have endured.

A lovely hotel, close but not too close to the centre. Room very comfortable with a big bed, excellent shower and quick internet. Breakfast buffet with a broad choice of vegetarian food and staff friendly and helpful

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
