        When one walks into this hotel you know you are in Rome. The decor tells you. The staff is Absolutely wonderful, the breakfast is fantastic. The juice of the blood orange each morning with mouth watering pasties, fresh fruit, bacon and eggs and lots more. One downside; No Cream for the coffee. The location is very close to the Vatican and walking is easy and safe. Google and Apple maps have some difficulty in the narrow streets and alleys. The room was adequate, modern and well equipped.

        Wonderful location in Rome, within walking distance of St. Peter’s and many of the other historical attractions. The neighborhood also seemed to offer an array of restaurants, bakeries, and convenience shops; as a solo female traveler, I felt safe walking around here in the evening. It was populated but not too noisy. As for the hotel itself, the staff were wonderful, especially Roberto who checked me in. I know it is a rarity to have a room ready that early in the morning, but I was pleasantly surprised that he was able to accommodate me when I arrived (and what a gift to a weary traveler who had not slept at all on the plane!). The lobby was spacious and clean, and the staff always said good morning/good evening. The room was modern and comfortable, and the best feature was a balcony that offered a little glimpse of the basilica. I ended almost every evening outside there just enjoying the ambiance. American travelers, be advised that these rooms do not have irons, so if you need to press your clothes, you will either need to arrange this service through the front desk or bring a travel iron that is dual voltage. For the ladies: the hair dryer was full size and had good power. And, there was a lovely shower/bathtub combo which was nice to soak in after a long day of walking in the summer heat. I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel and I will definitely stay here again when I return to Rome.

        The two of us stayed a total of 17 nights and were very pleased with the service and hotel at Starhotel Michelangelo. All the staff at the reception desk were so helpful throughout our stay and assisted us with all our needs and requests (as we went back and forth from other cities). The hotel is only a quick walk in to the centre of town. Looking forward to staying again when visiting Florence. Highly recommend.

        We had a great stay here. The location is excellent, just a few minutes from the Vatican. The room we got was large, with a small balcony from which you could see St Peter's Basilica. Each day we found two delicious chocolate hearts in our room.

        You must stay here!! Canada travellers love this property!!!! We travelled to this property in Rome at the vatican and the service was amazing. Giulia took our every need to heart and kept in contact from the moment we booked in September to the moment we arrived in November. 6 of us enjoyed the 3 amazing rooms, helpful and friendly staff, clean and large rooms and outstanding breakfast. Walk to the vatican is less than 5 minutes. Shuttle from the airport to hotel was made through the friendly and helpful staff at the hotel. Giulia we can not thank you and your team enough and will be back!!

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

          If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.
