The room is very clean and well-equipped with numerous amenities. The check-in process is straightforward and the staff are friendly. Additionally, the rooms are notably spacious. However, the building's construction quality is disappointing, particularly due to poor soundproofing. Loud footsteps are constantly audible, often disturbing sleep at night.

Stayed here Feb 2023 Three people in the “studio apartment” option. The beds are more then big enough to fit two people each if you have four people. Room was very spacious. There is washer in the room, as is common in Japan no dryer was in there; but the sauna/bathroom easily dried all our clothes no problem. There is a full kitchen and it is easy to use. The best feature of this room was the bathroom, the sauna Japanese style bathroom was amazing. After walking around all day it was a godsend. AND there’s a TV in the tub. Glorious. Hotel has elevators that are a decent size so disability access. However the room has a small step to get inside and there is absolutely no shoes allowed in the room past that point. This is close to the train in Kyoto, we took a bullet train from Tokyo and were able to walk from the train to the hotel in less then 5 min. Main bus lines run here to. Location was excellent. There is also a lot of stores and grocery in the area. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it!

Large beds fit my tall 6’5 son. Looks recently renovated, new & clean. 5 stars at least!! nice alley way with shops & overhanging lanterns just outside the hotel door. Have to add pictures later.

Really excellent hotel near Gion in Kyoto. It's a 10 min walk from the nearest subway station and a 5 min walk from the nearest bus stop. It's near a bush shrine/tourist area, so there's a decent amount of things to see and a lot of places to eat at. Check-in was relatively smooth and the reception was very kind. It's a great hotel for the price point and I highly recommend it if you're staying in Kyoto.

I just love to give 5 star to this Stay SAKURA Kyoto Higashiyama. The location is just a bus stop away from Gion, then walk about 5 mins. This is a traditional house transform into guest house call Machiya, the room is a home stay, come with kitchen, fridge, washing machine, I bath and a separate toilet, also with a small dinning table. Spacious room and bed. Truly love it.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
