Absolutely Fabulous! Our walk from the train station to the hotel was very brief, and we were immediately greeted by the owners. They explained the breakfast service, offered us a choice of beverage, gave us each a map to the city, and then helped us with our luggage to our room. We reserved a junior suite and it was a total stunner! I love a hotel room with a bathtub and this one was the perfect size! Our room was quiet: once you close those windows you no longer hear the outside world. But if you want to hear those beautiful cathedral bells, you only need open the windows. We were centrally located to the riverside, the cathedral, the main shopping square, and plenty of museums to choose from. We don’t eat eggs or meat and for some reason the owners were apologetic for their breakfast service offerings which were an embarrassment of riches! Breakfast in other European hotels was always a sad table of paltry options and a shrug, but not here. We have been spoiled for the remainder of our time in Europe. Everyone at the hotel is perfectly lovely. I would love to return to Cologne and stay here again and again.

Wow! What a hotel.... Amazing boutique hotel, beautiful room, comfy bed, modern bathroom. But best of all the staff who are incredible. Friendly, warm welcome including tips on how to get around and the best spots to visit in Cologne. Amazing breakfast (including gluten free options) and speciality scrambled eggs... Not to be missed. It really is a home from home... Highly recommended. AAA +++

We stayed here in May in the family apartment which is next door to the actual hotel. It was very nice to have the space, I would highly recommend for families or couples traveling together. The service we received starting at check in was amazing. We felt like guests in a home. I wish I could remember everyones name, each staff member was excellent. Wonderful breakfast. On our last night there was a bit of commotion in another apartment that kept us awake for about 30 minutes (no fault of the hotel). They went over the top to respond with apologies and discounted our night which was very unexpected. This is what excellent service looks like and we highly recommend Stern am Rathaus for your stay in Cologne!

The hotel hosts was there when we arrived and was so very welcoming, we immediately felt right at home. He even poured us a welcome beer while checking us in!😁 We had the family suite and another double room one floor below and everything was clean and comfortable. Good sized bathroom, clean towels and well thought out living space. The square on the other side of the hotel has great food and you are just a few minutes walk to everything. Perfect location. The breakfast buffet was just so pretty and so good with much variety including made to order eggs and a daily different made fresh specialty like sour cherry pancakes and apple french toast not to mention a great coffee maker to make your specialty coffee or hot chocolate! Don't think twice about booking! You really will be so very happy you did!

We had an amazing stay at the Hotel. The owners are friendly, helpful. The breakfast is wonderful and delicious. Location is perfect, close to the Cathedral, and restaurants. We really appreciate the attention from Andy and Emark. You guys are the best. We highly recommend this hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
