Pros: The Ace hotel is absolutely beautiful. I love the decor of the hotel and the location is great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I've also gone to their rooftop bar which is really adorable. I look forward to one day seeing a concert at the theater and will probably stay in the hotel when I do. Cons: they have a mini fridge in the room but it's stocked with drinks so you can't use it which is sad because if you need to use it for medication or something you can't. They also charged me for a drink out of that mini fridge even though I didn't drink anything.

Great location, reasonable price, friendly staff, artistic funky steampunk vibe, excellent coffee, comfortable bed. I would stay there again. I'd have liked a shower that got hot every time and that was not 10 feet off the ground. Also, a microwave in the room would be very convenient.

Rooms were amazing, very clean and had everything you would need. The cafe/breakfast place that's attached was comparable if not better than most restaurants nearby. The area was close to many downtown attractions (Grand Central Market, Little Tokyo, The Broad, etc) but not a great walk after dark. Would stay again!
