        The staff was very friendly and reactive. On the other hand we are disappointed with the experience, the insulation was very bad so we could hear the trains from 5am. There were also problems with the air-conditioning next to the bathroom, with dampness on the floor. We had black socks because it was so dirty, and we found lots of hair in the bed. And the fire alarm that went off at 9am on the 1st morning, which woke us up in a hurry and in stress. Unfortunately we won't be recommending this place.

        Heat was not working. The temperature outside was -1ºC and we contacted the host right away asking to fix the heating. The rooms are containers, so they do not retain the heat. Seems like the host was expecting us to fix the problem ourselves, and after making us lose 3h of our time, he finally recognised that there was no one coming to fix it. They promised a maintenance team would come the following day at 9am, no one showed up. We were only staying for 3 days, had to buy thick blankets otherwise it was impossible to sleep over there. Showering was a nightmare.

        Does feel like you are in a shipping container (name a bit of a giveaway!), but well thought through and furnished. Room needed some upkeep. Blind in room 101 didn't work fully and bathroom tap about to fall off and lighting a bit stark. Nice location on Lower Marsh. Lack of person available made check-in process a bit clunky, but I got in in the end!

        I had a generally positive experience at this hotel. However, it's important to note a few limitations. there is no luggage storage available after checkout, no housekeeping service. And the train tracks made the hotel quite noisy. Take these factors into account when considering a stay here.

        The room was very clean and tidy by the nice cleaning lady we met(room304),the apartments are in an ideal location to the sights we wanted to see. We had a couple of issues which were dealt with quickly and sufficiently. Obviously the train noise is an issue but it’s next to Waterloo station so what do you expect,it didn’t bother us too much. We thought it was a great idea using shipping containers and did the job brilliantly. Will definitely use again. Brian and Maureen from Scotland.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
