        We stayed at the North Gower Studios2let flats from 4-5 November and I am very disappointed. Firstly, the check-in time starts at 14:00 and we waited for over 40 minutes (from 14:00 to 14:40) until the receptionist came. They did not take our call and we had to wait outside the door. We felt they needed to be more professional. Secondly, the room was tiny and we were on a lower floor, the kitchen was very uncomfortable to cook in and the shower was very tiny. The flat was clean and close to the underground which is the only good quality.

        Seriously impressed! We didn’t expect this level of cleanliness and cooperation from this property. It is soo clean inside the studio! And it was a bit more spacious than what i thought it would be. The receptionist was very very very cooperative and helpful. We are so grateful. My only negative point is that there’s no elevator in the building, so not recommended for people with many luggages unless if you make sure to stay on the first floor.

        This was more like a prison, London nightmare including that sketch Indian guy who works during night shift for check in. If you have a chance, run from it! My husband was in China for a long time and stayed many cheap hotels but he said he never seen a place like this and the service was unacceptable and so unprofessional. We had to spend hour going back and forth dealing with the room issues after we got there late around 9pm. By the time we got into our bed, it was around 11. We spent 2hrs with empty stomach fighting and trying to get a “decent” room with this rude, dishonest staff who looks like Indian ( hard to understand his English) . The first room he gave us was on basement with dirty sheet and you can see trashes behind glass wall that connecting to outside basement. It looked more like a nightmare prison. We got so scared and walked out. When we asked another he lied saying there is no other room saying it’s fully booked and got angry. When we pointed the fact that there were many room without any lights on upstairs which means highly likely it’s vacant. He changed his words saying those are extra. We didn’t mind pay extra for upstairs room but couldn’t help but think this all process was just suspicious and shady. What in the world, they gave us a dungeon for the normal price, the room he have us wasn’t what we saw on website! And he lied saying there was no other room! The 2nd room they gave didn’t have AC with sinking bed with tiny shower. If I knew this place is run by Indian, I would never made this reservations. From my experiences with them, they do everything to get your money. Big mistakes! They need to shutdown this place since they are falsely advertising their place on website and when customers show up, they do whatever they like since most of us didn’t want to lose deposit or can’t cancel on the last minute without penalty. If you don’t want stress out on your vacation, pay little extra and go to decent place.

        If you're looking for any form of comfort or luxury then THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. The room we had measured 12' x 12' and had a bed crammed against the wall, cupboard, small kitchen area and the smallest en-suite (toilet, sink and shower) I have ever used. They were a couple of warm July days, no air conditioning, and if it wasn't for the fan we would have had a very uncomfortable night (despite a window). At £252 for 2 nights, value for money possibly as the location was good. Just round the corner from Euston Stations, both mainline and underground and a short walk to Kings Cross. Eateries of all sorts close by as are the Welcome Institute and the British Library. Quiet'ish area away from the main road.

        The rooms are pretty good value, and the location is great. Very close to Euston Underground and Camden markets etc. Be prepared for very little space, especially in the bathroom. It's fine, but only just! If you were a bigger person you would struggle in the bathroom! We were generally happy with the place as it was pretty well equipped although a few little things (tea towels, oven mitt, salt and pepper) would improve the kitchen. A corner shelf or two behind the bathroom door would also be great. Thanks for a good value stay.
