The hotel is very good specially in the low season. Me and my fiancé enjoyed the pool all the time and we had it only for ourselves.The room is pretty spacious and clean. The beach is 5 min walk, 7/11 3 min. Wifi was good enough to work remotely. Nice green scenery of palms and mountains. The hosts are nice and housekeeper very kind. The only negative thing is that in this area of Lamai is a kind of red light which we were not aware of, so it is kind of weird vibes around this area during the night. However we felt safe all the time.

We stayed at the Suanmali for one night. (were supposed to be staying for 8) thank goodness we didn't book through one of the booking websites but reserved directly through the hotel on the phone! (as we could pull out if we didn't like it) We had one of the rooms at the back as you enter the hotel. The reasons we decided to go after only one night was that the room was quite noisy well into the early hours as it backs onto noisy bars at the back of the hotel and there was NO INTERNET in the actual room. You have to sit around the pool near the office to get any kind of reception. We mentioned this to management and their attitude was one of complete denial - who cares! The bed also smelled quite mouldy as I think the room had not been occupied for a while. The bathroom was also quite dirty. I wrote 'dirty' with my finger nail on the soap scum on the shower taps backing in the expectation that they clean it. Everything was a bit old and worn out, I think this place has seen better days, but as is often the case here in Thailand things are not maintained. To end on a positive note the area around the pool in this hotel is lovely and the reason I booked. We were expecting great things as Samui is very competitive and has normally good standards. We left the very next morning to a much better, cheaper place.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
