I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. The rooms were very dirty with a bad odor, dirty carpets, and were uncomfortably tiny. The washrooms were smelly, lacked ventilation, and the absence of AC made the rooms hot. The telephone was non-functional, lights were out, and there was no lift. Safety deposit box was also out of order. The breakfast quality was really poor. Overall, not recommended due to multiple issues affecting the stay. This establishment falls far below its claimed 4-star status; it doesn't even deserve 1 star. Additionally, the inconvenience of walking uphill to reach the main Sultanahmet area adds to the overall dissatisfaction with the hotel's location. To make matters worse, the thin walls allowed for an unwelcome intrusion of privacy—I could easily overhear conversations from the next room. This lack of sound insulation further diminished the overall quality of my stay. Only positive is their staff was friendly.

We stayed six nights. My girlfriend and I have separate rooms on different floors. Both rooms had everything we needed and more. Breakfast was delicious and the Turkish coffee was better than I had imagined. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and were very gracious. The hotel was located close to all the tourist sites. All walkable. In a lovely location.

In an age where large multinational chain hotels are everywhere, it was a refreshing change to stay at this small and quaint hotel in Istanbul's historical district. We stayed in this hotel for four nights (family of four). Yes, the rooms are a bit cramped, but the building is itself an antique and the creaking staircase and small rooms are part of the charm. The location is a big plus, being a ten minute walk up to the Blue Mosque. We were served by the helpful and friendly Mr Orhan. The breakfast was simple and delicious. And the coffee was divine. Overall, a memorable and enjoyable stay.

The staff were immediately very welcoming and very helpful with information. They were more than happy with me working (with a laptop) in the dining area. Wi-fi was reliable in my room and the dining area. The room was small (I had the ground floor room immediately to the left as you enter the building), but fine since I spent very little time there. Breakfast was fine and they even offered breakfast earlier for me on my day of departure. One of the staff there (Orthan) was very helpful. He even made me some complimentary Turkish coffee a few times. It was my first tasting of coffee in Istanbul and he did a great job at it 👏🏽 Overall, a great location to stay for your Istanbul (old town) explorations.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
