Very disappointed in my recent stay. I stayed in a room with 2 double beds. The beds are comfortable enough, but the pillows were odd, square decorative pillows and not normal ones for sleeping. The rooms had no irons or ironing boards, which is very strange to not have in 2023. The whole facility was in a state of general disrepair. The lobby was being re-walked and painted, and smelt badly of fumes. The stairways were full of unpainted patchwork. My room had its towel rack falling off the wall, rust in the shower and the AC unite blew a musty smell into our room. We didn’t get down to breakfast as the hours were only 6-9, which is very early for most people, at least have it lasting to check out time. All in all, I can’t recommend staying at this accommodation.

Rooms need paying attention to detail. They are not clean. The location is great because its just off the main road. The breakfast is also what is said to be. Depending on time of your arrival, there are usually no spaces to eat. And half the time the food is finished.

This place was recommended by a friend to stay as it was close to the Ambassador Bridge. It came with great service from the time we entered - Minal at the front desk & Ragu assisting in the tiny breakfast room. The rooms are clean and spacious. I would recommend this place just be careful you might encounter noisy guests in other rooms and hallway. The other concern we had was the room housekeeping - it was very haphazard (no system). There seems to be a difficulty with towels - on our arrival, we noticed no towels until I informed the front desk. On our second day after getting back to our room from a trip to Detroit, we were provided with fresh towels though a dirty towel hanging from a shelf was left behind (how can anyone miss that?) plus the bed was not made. I have never had that experience before staying one or multiple nights in a hotel/motel.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. I regularly stay here as my daughter is attending the University of Windsor. I booked this hotel online and a glitch in their system confirmed the week before to my email. I called immediately 2 minutes after the booking and they refused to refund me and change the date. They cancelled my reservation, hung on me and kept my $201.00! I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. It is theft to cancel a reservation and keep the money!. This has been a nightmare. Book with an honest, reputable hotel chain instead.
