Room smells of mold and has next to no ventilation. The odor is overwhelming when you enter the room. If I could give this a negative score on the room I would. There is what appears to be visible mold under the AC unit. The mini fridge in our room is a decent paperweight as fridge it self does not work. The door weather stripping doesn't even seal to the outside. Breakfast area has 5 tables for 50+ rooms. Advertised as a hotel, clearly a motel as all rooms are external entrances. The pool is located across the parking lot and is not suitable for children due to the location and size. Overall a poor experience made worse by the fact that they have a higher review on travel sites that give the impression of a decent facility. Clearly using the parent companies name and reputation to bolster guest bookings.

A small gem close enough to the main attractions. Rooms are small but clean and updated. Not as pristine as the photo renders of course, but almost spotless. The AC works very well and it can get cold. The bathroom was a nice size and preferred over more bedroom space. Small artificial grass with dog bag post is a bonus.

We came here for a mini staycation getaway from everyday busy life. The service was very good all around, front desk staff were responsive and friendly, housekeeping was very helpful. The rooms are a little on the small side but cozy and newer. The bathtub was perfect! Each room has a microwave too. My favorite part is breakfast its FREE with your stay and I must say that is the best part of Best Westerns chain of hotels. Overall stay was great nice and relaxing and the price was excellent.

My experience at SureStay By Best Western San Diego Pacific Beach hotel was extremely disappointing. Firstly, the service attitude of the red-haired front desk staff was exceptionally unfriendly, making me feel unwelcome. This left me with an extremely unpleasant first impression. Upon entering the room, my disappointment grew even further. The room had a pervasive odor that was simply intolerable. This unpleasant smell made me extremely uncomfortable and significantly marred the entire stay. Due to this dreadful experience, I had initially planned to check out early the next day, but the hotel did not allow early check-out, which left me feeling very dissatisfied as it was evident that the hotel was not meeting my expectations in terms of service. In the end, I had to engage in a cumbersome negotiation with Ctrip to successfully obtain a refund for one night's stay. Thankfully, Ctrip did not disappoint me in this regard. The only aspect worthy of praise was the breakfast. Although the breakfast was quite basic, the attitude of the breakfast staff was remarkably friendly, providing some solace during an otherwise disappointing stay. In conclusion, the unfriendly front desk service, room odor, and inflexible check-out policy at SureStay By Best Western San Diego Pacific Beach hotel left me extremely disappointed with my experience. I will not choose to stay at this hotel again and will not recommend it to others. I hope the hotel can improve its service quality to offer a better accommodation experience. It's perplexing how this hotel managed to receive a 4-star rating on TripAdvisor when Google Maps' rating is only 3.4. It appears that the latter is more reliable.

Be very careful when you come here, this place was shady when we first walked in to check in. We booked and paid online, we walked In I told the person I was going to check in I've been here beforehand and the guy upfront wanted to charge me again after I said check in and tried to give him my confirmation number. After we checked we went to the room, the rooms are very small by the way. The first night I noticed there was no body wash but I didn't want to make a big deal, I accidentally spilled a small amount of my beverage so I thought they will be house keeping so I will wait til morning for fresh sheets and a new bodywash, NO one came so I called front desk and ask for fresh sheets and body wash I was told "we can't do that right now, we don't have sheets nor body wash but your more than welcome to COME DOWN and get some bar soap." Never in my life when I stayed in a motel/hotel has I've been ask to go get something nor something not available, whatever the reason, I said ok no worries. I drove to target and got body wash and bought myself a sheet. Be careful before paying these guys are shady. Also not worth staying here rather paid a couple of extra bucks and stay across the street overall experience 3.5/10

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
