The hotel is very much new, modernized, and spotlessly clean due to recent renovations. It's located on a small street in a very quiet area, very convenient and within walking distance of everything. We chose this hotel so that we could walk in about 10 minutes to the same meeting point every morning for the tour buses of Mt. Fuji and Tokyo sightseeing tours. The bedroom and bathroom are very small, with a super tight space to move around, especially for two people with luggage on the floor. I think it would help if the beds were a little bit smaller. I understand it is in the city, and there is not much real estate there. It's not a complaint, but the characteristics of the hotel need to be mentioned.

Staff doesn’t speak English at all. Had an issue with my booking, receptionist was not even able to help or communicate. The hotel charges you additional fees once you get to the hotel. They charged me 45 usd upon arrival even if I paid everything for me and my brother beforehand. Rooms are tiny even for Japan standards and the bathroom had a bad smell. Suggestion, try another hotel ,even if it’s more expensive it will worth it.

This is probably the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed. We had a deluxe twin room which did have two small beds but the size would normally be sold as a single or at most semi-double. I bumped into different things in the bathroom numerous times. Despite all this, the price is very reasonable for a centrally located hotel in Tokyo, especially during golden week. It might be well suited for a small sized person staying on their own.
