Stayed here 19OCT-23OCT 2023. Excellent stay at this hotel and casino! I stayed in two separate rooms. The reason I changed rooms had nothing to do with the quality of the room, my flight was cancelled so I had to stay an extra day. The first room was good. It was spacious but the bathroom was a little dated. The second room was really good. It had more modern amenities. The noise level inside and outside the hotel is loud but it didn't interrupt my sleep much. The hotel staff was excellent. The front desk, bartenders, room cleaning, security, and room service personnel were friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel itself was exceptional. The bar areas were a lot of fun! The casino has everything you need but small. But I didn't spend too much time in the casino. The atmosphere at Taormina is perfect for those needing to relax or party with friends. I was with a friend and we really enjoyed this hotel. The location is excellent! We were able to bar hop and visit historical sites by walking. But I recommend taking a taxi. It is about a 30min ride from SJO airport. What surprised me the most about this hotel was the food. The food was really good! I ordered room service or dined in the restaurant almost every morning/night. I will definitely stay here again!

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping fulfills your requests, never disappointed. There's always some party or activity going on here. The only thing I suggested to management was to list that they have a gym and awesome nightclub downstairs. I don't feel they advertise them extra amenities which are very nice. It took me two times of staying here to find these things out. I see some people complaining about the age of the rooms etc. , well I'm not here to sit in the room and critique the furniture, however I found everything functional and sufficient for my stay. Im here to enjoy the activities and that they do provide. Taormina will have my business in the future, due to price, activities, cleanliness and location 😊

The housekeeper was rude and yelled at me for no reason. I mean absolutely zero reasons. The rooms are aging. Shower handle was broke. Bathroom door wouldn't close. ONE Imperial cost 3,500 colones. Outrageous considering an Imperial typical costs 1,000 colones to 1,500 colones. The TV stopped working. Also, luckily I was on the third floor or the party noise would have came through. The selection of girls was mediocre. The restaurant food was okay with reasonable prices. The outside crowd is rough. No plan to ever stay here again. Back in the days they didn't even let us in, but their business plan changed when they realized they wouldn't be able to make it without us. Don't get too comfortable here.

The place is often crawling with police - likely due to the influx of seedy looking narco traffickers who seem to enter with impunity. Even tourists get caught up having to hand their ID to police & wait 15+ mins to have it returned to them, while the friendly staff says and does absolutely nothing to explain or apologize for the inconvenience. You have a presumption of privacy and a good time in a casino brothel, and that is no longer a sure bet at Taormina. The only thing you can actually be sure of is the price of booze will keep going up: an Imperial costs 3,000 LOL. Get bent over with outrageous prices and have to deal with dozens of police photographing and hoarding cedulas on top of it? Pura vida I guess. :D

The food at the restaurant is just bad... Three times a charm, or is it? Love the place, but man please fix the food... Every time I have eaten there, it has been an absolute garbage .... Of course, I still had to pay for it .... I mean they messed up fajitas ... The meat was like shoe leather ...

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
