The four-night stay in mid February 2023 turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We weren't paying a lot, so we weren't expecting too much. Location was like how you could see on Google Maps, about a 10-minute walk from Tennoji station. Building looked ordinary from the outside. Front desk was just small and dark. However reception staff were friendly and very helpful. They could communciate with foreign travellers at ease. They always remembered my room number, I never had to tell them once during our stay. The hotel was probably originally built as residential units. As such, the room was surprisingly spacious. Your opened suitcases simply would not get in your way and you wouldn't trip over in the middle of the night. Bathroom unit was kind of separate from your sleeping area, which we liked a lot. It felt more like a cozy Japanese apartment unit than a hotel room. There was a stand alone radio unit inside the room, which is rare these days. Audio was setup nicely and so the quality was simply excellent. Also housekeeping seemed to have done a good job during our stay. It's simply value for money, and we will definitely return next time we visit Osaka.

We had a big room in beautiful Japanese style, few minutes walk to Tennoji Station and Subway. You can even have a nice walk via Osaka Tower to Dottondori using several shopping streets. Many atmospheric temples and shrines are just north of it. Perfect also for going to/coming from airport!

It is a medium comfort hotel that is close to Tennoji station. The rooms have all the necessary amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap, slippers, hairdryer and even a teapot. It has free Wi-Fi. Check-in starts at 3:00 pm and checkout must be done by 10:00 am. The hotel has some issues with cleanliness and some facilities seem to need some maintenance. For the daily price, there are options of the same level and cheaper in the region.
