My fiancé and I had a wonderful short stay at this hotel. Right in the heart of Cairns with easy walk ability to many restaurants as well as the port and our favorite brewery. Parking is a bit tricky if you can manage to find parking. But overall a convenient spot while visiting Cairns.

What a great experience it was staying here! My partner and I hate big hotels and resorts.. we feel like just another number in them… But staying at the Abbott was great, we felt comfortable and welcomed. Going to Cairns for the first time we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel! Peter the manager is a legend, humble, friendly and funny while very accommodating. He gave us great tips and was always open for a chat. Also if you haven’t booked tours he will book them for you and give you a 10% discount!! The Abbott is a family run business, clean comfortable and quiet, with a perfect location. It’s a 4 min walk to the marina (you can sleep in before your boat tour 😅) and a few meters away from the night market and breakfast places. Generally we had a great 3 nights and days here. Definitely staying here again.

We booked to stay here but couldn't make it to Cairns (live in port Douglas) due to the cyclone and road closures. They wouldn't refund and wouldn't return my calls. From a local to another local business who experienced Jasper (cyclone) your empathy is non existent. No compassion for people.. very upset and we booked 2 days before Christmas

Loved The Abbott! The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, the communal coffee machine and areas are excellent. I was in Cairns for work and found the room clean, comfortable and very nice and quiet. Conveniently located with everything you could need nearby, including grocery stores and food venues within a few steps! The art gallery, convention Centre, lagoon and esplanade are all within walking distance.

Value for money hotel in the heart of Cairns. Guest lounge was an added bonus which included coffee machine and good view overlooking main street. We will not hesitate to return.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
