        Had such a great experience! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location can’t be beat in camps bay. The breakfast was tasty with a good view and the pool service was fantastic! I felt very safe and relaxed. Plus they even gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and dessert for two to celebrate our honeymoon! If you are visiting camps bay I would highly suggest !

        My family who have visited have told me that the staff are attentive and friendly, the rooms are luxurious and well-appointed, and the location is convenient and well-connected. I'm sure it would be a fantastic place to stay, and I'm looking forward to experiencing it for myself. Based on what I've heard,I can't wait to go myself.

        This place is like mother earth. . everything is well equipped. Near the beach. . .very good service and the staff was amazing. Loved the entire trip and the food was top shelf. .would recommend anybody to go there and just relax and have a great time. See you there next time 😍😍

        Lacklustre, indifferent and not secure This is not a review I want to write but this Hotel needs to change. We stayed at The Bay Hotel in the previous year and had a good stay. However, the change for the worse in a year is remarkable. We booked a room nearly a year in advance and called the Reception Team in January to secure a particular room for December 2023. The Hotel put us in the wrong room and then denied all knowledge of the assurances that were made to us. (If you make a request make sure you get confirmation in writing). Our mistake on that one! In addition, we had an 18 month old child with us and they forgot to provide a cot. This was provided, but the fact this was stated at time of booking and we had to complain to get one shows, in our opinion, the simple lack of care and concern that seems to pervade this hotel. The Manager said they "understood our frustration" so many times and said they would try and remedy the situation regarding the wrong room. They did not! We were told by the Manager "I have not forgotten you" on the one and only time he spoke to us after the complaint was made. Probably true....he just ignored and evaded us for the remainder of our stay. The room next door to us had goods stolen and the occupants said they had not seen the Manager after the complaint was made. Indeed, there were numerous instances of individuals just walking in from the street, using the pool and looking for opportunities to rob. Very often, we were asked what Room Number we were in during casual chat by the poolside so these visitors could order food and drinks and place it on our bill. We didnt fall for that one, but others did. Many of the staff just ignored us when passing by, an experience shared by others we talked to, and the whole place gave the air of 'couldn't be bothered' We won't be coming back!

        Very disappointing! The only reason to stay at this hotel is due to its location at the beach but the hotel itself is a 3 star maximum and not a 5 star. The hotel rooms, furniture, beach towels are all very used and old and the breakfast is just not acceptable at a 5 star hotel. The only thing they welcome you with is a water with flavor and when we asked about a nice welcome drink like a glass of champagne we were told that they no long have a welcome drink. The mini bar was like a hostel and I for sure would never recommend this hotel to someone looking for a 4. -5 star hotel. This only works if you are traveling on a budget and looking for a bed to sleep. Sad and disappointing
