Would definitely stay at the Boly Osaka again - staff were very friendly and helpful, the room itself was great (and large!), and the location was good. The hotel warns you that you will feel/hear trains on any floor, and this is entirely true. It wasn't loud enough to cause any problems for us though.

Nice hotel in Osaka. Room selected: Double room with city view. - They have a landary room which you can utilize for free. - The location is great and right next to the river. - The service and staff were good. Overall, I had a lovely time in this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at The Boly!! The staff were super welcoming and friendly and were able to assist with anything we needed. The location was perfect. It’s out of the tourist areas but handy to everything. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. We loved the quirky cool character of the hotel which looks like it was converted from an old office building. Having breakfast overlooking the river was a great way to start the day and you can finish on the rooftop with a beer. All the staff were super attentive and helpful. They even organised the on-sending of our excess luggage to Tokyo while we hiked around the Kii peninsula. Thank you!! I hope we can return again soon.

I don't have much good to say about this place except for the location and view at Osaka Town Hall which are great. The place is filthy looking - especially the reception desk which is sticky and disgusting. Rooms are fortunately rather clean. The room does not have power outlets except for in the corridor, and one slow-charging USB port in the bedside table. The table itself is tiny and made of metal so you can't really use it for anything made of metal/glass or it will scratch. The WiFi is awful. It's slow and keeps on disconnecting. The train sounds were not the most annoying to me personally, but I can see how it could be a problem to someone.
