        Not the most pleasant stay. The lift is out of order, the room had only two electrical sockets, the hairdryer didn't work so they replaced it with a tiny one that is not sufficient for drying long hair, one of the nights the shower didn't have hot water for the first 10 minutes, and 2 out of 3 days the radiator kept making loud sounds between 7 and 8 AM which sounded like someone was hitting it with a fork, this was very unpleasant and made it impossible to get a good rest. Good sides of the hotel were the view and the heating system.

        I had a rather disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. Despite arriving 45 minutes after the check-in time had started, there was no staff at the reception to assist us. After a 10-minute wait, I had to approach a bar staff member to find someone to check us in, and they mentioned that they were occupied with a coach group, but the coach group seemed to have their keys and no staff around. Unfortunately, there was no apology for the delay when they finally arrived after another 5 minutes. Upon reaching the lift, we found out it was broken, no prior notice when checking in. The room had a noticeable damp smell upon entering, and the light outside the door was not functioning correctly. Additionally, there was a visible leak mark on the ceiling outside the door. The room itself showed signs of significant wear and tear, with marks and chips all around. The cleanliness was far from acceptable, with hairs found in the bath, on the toilet, and in the sink. The hand soap dispenser was mounted unevenly on the wall, and there were used eye contact lenses on the bedside unit, which was quite off-putting. Furthermore, the extractor fan only worked during specific hours, making it inconvenient when you needed to shower outside of those hours. The only redeeming aspects of our stay were that the water was hot, and the heating system worked well. Overall, I was very disappointed with this experience and do not plan on returning. The lack of staff, cleanliness issues, and room condition left much to be desired, making it a regrettable stay.

        Veiws from the windows are amazing. Very comfortable armchairs and beds in the rooms, the view is just amazing. The windows open and you can let in fresh lake air, the heating radiators work perfectly. I also really liked the assortment of costume jewelry in the showcases of the hall and souvenirs.

        Disappointing for the price point but was generally ok. Lift has been broken for a while so had to carry heavy bags up stairs. It was fine for us but I worry about wheelchair accessibility in a hotel advertised as accessible. Decor and furnishing feels tired, staff seem unhappy and are quite indifferent to you and the mugs in our room were dirty. All of the above would be fine if we didn't have to pay so much for the room.

        An emergency stop over this one. The room was comfortable but seemingly basic and reminded me of a former Travelodge/Premier Inn setup. The lounge and dining area was decent, as was the food. Reasonably priced, too. The lift wasn't working; it didn't affect us, but it would be a pain if you needed one as a note.
