        It is situated at a nice location. Room facilities are above average. They arranged us a BBQ for one night and it was also good. Should mention the great service by Anthony. There is a Jacuzzi in the garden too(which needs some repair now). We had issues with couple of meals which hotel management didn't attend property. Hope they will take necessary actions to correct them. Nothing wrong with the stay there except that issue with couple of meals.

        I had the worst experience ever trying to book this place and never had a hotel increase the price by 100% with in a span of 5 minutes don't think I will ever recommend a place which cannot be professional about their rates

        Booked the bungalow for two night three days stay so that our team can be safe from CoViD and enjoy without being exposed to the outsiders. It all started great. We arrived for lunch which was great and was served at their restaurant Sackville. We were welcome by the caretaker with garlands and the rooms were all nicely arranged with fresh flowers to decorate the beds. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Although it is high time to do a little repair we enjoyed the Jacuzzi which is something not every hotel/ bungalow has. We requested the dinner to be served at the bungalow dining room as it seemed that the outsiders also use Sackville restaurent. Food was good but the salad was the same as lunch and the Mutton broth was too watery. Next day breakfast was great again with a choice of Kiribath, Thosai, Roti. It was filling but tasted average. Lunch was again with the same green salad and we had the option to chose between seafood, meat or rice & curry. Seafood dish came with sufficienty filling mashed potatos but the cottage pie and the chicken pieces in the meat dish were not enough for a grownup. BBQ dinner which we paid extra 1500 for was great and they have arranged a elegant dinner table in the garden. Again it came with the same leafy salad with the same dressing as always. Soup was great this time and the BBQ meat were also well cooked and tasty. Although we had to convince them that it was not going to rain to get the BBQ outdoors as agreed earlier that can be forgiven because of the quality of the food. All the drama started at the breakfast next day which was our last meal at the bungalow. We were invited to the buffet at their hotel which is next door and was told that we will be arraged a separate area such that we don't interact with the others in the hotel. But when we went there we were asked to sit in the same dining area as the others and even the buffet was self served which create a great risk of spreading CoViD. We refused to use the buffet and asked them to send the food to the bungalow since they claimed they are unable to arrange a separate area as promised. Restaurant manager was rude and was acting as if he has nothing to do with the arrangements we made with Dimithri whom we were in contact since the reservation was made. Then the food was brought to the bungalow and it was just a single plate of noodles, rice and few buns. The food quantity was barely enough for 2-3 people and definitely not for a crowd of 16 adults. When questioned we were told that it is past 10 and the food is over! We requested to talk to the restaurant manager but he only arrived about half hour later and wasn't ready to accept the mistake they made. It was the caretaker Antony who ran up and down to the hotel to bring us something to eat and If it wasn't for the him we might not have anything to eat for breakfast at all. Then when the bill was different from the agreed amount and another good one hour was wasted trying to amend the bill At the end the reservations manager apologied for the In summary; It is situated at a lovely location. Although the view is disturbed by their hotel in front still the place make you feel like you're in the little england. Rooms are great, spacious and comfortable. The caretaker Antony was great in making the stay as pleasent as he could. If you want to go there only stay for one night so that you don't get bored eating the same food. All in all laziness of the restaurent staff riuned an otherwise perfect stay at this lovely bungalow. Won't be returning and won't be recomending to anyone else because there many other bungalows offering a better service at the price.

        The resort is comfortable, clean and tidy. Anthony was the employee who made the stay memorable for us. The best part is the hospitality of the staff. They are always caring, ready to cater for any kind of requirement and so ensure customer satisfaction at it's best. One of the best staff i saw in about 150 plus hotels I have stayed in Lanka. Must stay leisurely for two or three nights to have the full experience. Special thanks to Anthony who made this experience amazing by customizing many things of us specially. And Jay is the one who was really with us throughouut the stay by making the whole experience memorable by providing us many inputs to fill the day. The level that these two people go for customer satisfaction is immense. And their ability to make decisions to satisfy customers was at a very high level. The spa ladies were the best we had experienced in Lanka, we opt for number of spa treatments due to the quality. Highly satisfied with spa therapists. In the Sackville restaurant has a good view and tasty food. The main restaurant staff is also commendable with special thanks to Vasigaran who is very pleasant and remembers the choices we made over the days, and also Thilini who made us smile with a very pleasant welcome and service. Apart from Anthony,Jay, Vasigaran and Thilini, all other employees were really really great. The best customer service we experienced in Lanka which is similar to "four seasons" experience we had.

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.
          If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.
          Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
