The renovation/restyling of what was a hotel and previously a mansion has been done with style and imagination. The Edison has style without flash. During my 5-night stay, the staff were unfailingly polite and helpful. Although only breakfast is served in the hotel, a range of drinks and snacks are available in the lounge 24/7. Highly recommended.

We loved our 4 night stay at The Edison - every staff member goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is good. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious and the property is stunning. Because of the age of the building you can hear the karaoke from the hawker market opposite however the overall experience makes up for it. It’s worth heading over for a beer in the evening to watch the performances. The drinks and snacks in the lounge/kitchen are a lovely touch and we will miss the staff. Would definitely stay again if we’re back in Georgetown.

We stayed there for 4d3n for our anniversary. The hotel staff were super nice and thoughtful. Albert, David and Chris have made sure we were well taken cared of. They were super polite and professional. The surroundings are quiet at night to ensure a good rest. Hotel itself is amazingly photogenic and elegantly fragrant. Room was super comfy. I have chronicle insomnia but I slept like a baby for all 3 nights. Definitely recommend it and thank you all for your hospitality.

A wonderfully restored heritage building. Impeccable service - the staff really are amazing and have a great eye for detail. Lounge has some indoor and plenty of outdoor seating. FOC snacks and soft drinks, including fruit juices, milk, yoghurt. Cooked breakfast was very simple- 2 eggs your style. Serve-yourself breads selection aplenty. Beds we comfortable and room was clean. Bedside electrical plugs were in slightly challenging locations. Location is awesome, although the hawker centre over the road pumps out some cabaret singing pretty loudly into the evening, but earplugs supplied FOC. Pool is a little chilly and would best suit a lap swimmer. Certainly would stay again.

Beautiful boutique style hotel. There’s a pool and a lounge area with free snacks, soft drinks, and wine for an hour during the evening. Pros: - Lovely location situated nearby many tourist attractions and right across from a hawker food court - Rooms are huge - Staff members are super lovely and kind. Albert really explained not only about the hotel’s history but landmarks to go nearby. He gave me many recommendations as well Cons: - The noise from karaoke across the street. To be honest, this wasn’t a big deal for me BUT if you sleep early then beware. They start singing around 8pm to right before midnight - The karaoke is bearable BUT what’s worse is the foot steps from the stairs/upstairs. Everytime someone walked down the stairs, it sounded like elephants stomping. Oh and if you have a kid that is staying above you on the 2nd floor, constant noises. - No restaurants/room service but this is also fine cause Penang offers so many amazing cheap foods - No power outlet nearby the sink or bed. So if you want to style or dry your hair/charge your phone at night, you’ll have to do it by the desk. Honestly, if you request for a room on the 2nd floor ALL the way in the back, the noise will not be an issue at all. Avoid the rooms in the front because of the karaoke and that’s where the check-in happens, and especially ones next to the staircases. Rooms on the right side of the hotel are noisier in general since the pool is right there. Will stay here again as long as I can request for a room on the 2nd floor and in the back.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
