We had high expectations having seen the good reviews and this hotel didn’t disappoint us! The room is good sized and very functional, there was even some space to store our suitcases. The bathroom is very modern and functional, with a lot of free amenities (toothbrush, brush, cleanser gel, lotion.,..) we also got a pair of slippers. The hotel is super quiet we didn’t hear any noise in our room at any time. Location is also great, a few minutes from the busy downtown.

Truly amazing hotel. This economically reasonable hotel makes you feel like you’re living in the lap of luxury. The rooms a perfectly appointed with a wonderful shower to boot. I felt meticulously taken care of each day. The lounge was such a relaxing space to enjoy a glass of wine or green tea before heading out for dinner. We had the breakfast which allowed us to feel fueled and prepared for the busy days of sightseeing. Located in a ideal location close to many transportation options this hotel was everything I could have dreamed of. They even gave you little cookies at checkout!!!!!

Very simple: When coming to Kyoto book this hotel. Rooms are quite spacious for Japanese relations. Everything seemed quite modern and very clean. It was the best bed of all the hotels we've stayed at in Japan and maybe even one of the best hotels during this trip.

We had the most wonderful and perfect stay at the General, Kyoto. The rooms were spacious, modern, comfortable and practical. The staff were friendly and the hotel itself is in a perfect location, only being a short walk from the train station and walking distance from restaurants. Everything was just perfect! We wanted to stay longer! Would recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto.

Wonderful hotel and thoughtful staff. Clean, stylish and comfortable rooms. The staff worked hard to give us great service and recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
