        We stayed here when we visited the Christmas Market. Room - I am delighted to say that the rooms are of a decent size. We stayed in the King bed, Signature Guest Room. Staff - The staff were very warm and friendly. Lovely location - right in the city and a walking distance from the train station, shops and the Christmas Market. Easy access to buses, trams etc. It would have been lovely to have breakfast included in the price. Breakfast portions were quite small for the price.

        The location was amazing, but aside from that, I strongly recommend staying away unless you’ve gotten an insane deal. For a “5 star hotel” the accommodations are mediocre. The room itself was good not great. You could have a similar quality experience at any 4 star hotel for half the price. The TV is 15 years old, no smart capabilities. There was a pretty annoying odor that persisted. Aside from high ceilings, there’s not much to differentiate it from a standard Holiday Inn. We ate at the bar, which charged like a Michelin Star restaurant, however served lukewarm food. While it was good, it wasn’t worth the bill. Go anywhere else in town to eat for better value. I will give it credit, however, for an excellent selection of Scotches. However, the absolute WORST part is the layout. I cannot understate how awful of an experience it is getting to and from your room. There is one entrance, and to get to your room, you will have to take an elevator to the top floor, cross all the way across TWO buildings, and take a flight or two (depending on your room number) down stairs just to get to your room. There is ZERO handicap accessibility, so if you’ve got so much as bad knees, stay far away. It actually became infuriating that each time we’d need to run back to the room for anything, it’s a 5 minute walk through the hotel each way. I get it’s an older building, but that doesn’t make it any less inconvenient. At the very least, build another elevator. I do feel bad leaving a poor review as the staff was exceptional.         This is the second time I have had the opportunity of staying at the Glasshouse Last year I stayed at this hotel and it flooded the room and the water never drained in the bathroom. This time we had some similar issues but was rectified very quickly and compassionately. When highlighting this to the operations manager, Jordan who went above and beyond to rectify the issue! Jordan thank you for all your help and turning round our stay! The bar staff were so knowledgeable, helpful and made some of the best cocktails in Edinburgh that i have tasted!

        The location of the hotel is very convenient especially coming from the airport - the tram is directly across the hotel a 2 min walk. Also easy access to the old town and a lot of restaurants. The rooms were very spacious and nice. We were on the first floor so it was a little loud due to there being an eatery downstairs but I imagine the higher floors would be fine. The layout of the hotel is very complicated, it took us about 7 minutes and two flights of stairs just to exit the hotel. This probably is just because its a historical building and that’s what they are working with but it wasn’t very ideal. I would not recommend the breakfast. There are a lot of cute cafe/bakeries nearby with better quality/value for breakfast. The service was great, the staff were so friendly. If you’re okay with walking a bit to get in and out then this is a great option.

        Some of the most hospitable and thoughtful staff I’ve ever experienced on my travels. The location is incredible. The rooms are very comfortable. The views are gorgeous. And the bar at the hotel has an incredibly thoughtful and well-curated whisky list. Truly an amazing experience. If you’re not sure where to stay in Edinburgh, stay here.

          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
          The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.
