“A Smoky, Musky, Dirty Stay. ” Gunawarman looks great on the outside and is in a great neighbourhood with great places within walking distance. But that is about all that is great about this place. We got a non-smoking room (and I pretty sure on the website it says that it is a non-smoking hotel) but I can assure you that people smoke WITHIN the hotel and even if you get a non-smoking room, you will be smelling like smoke the entire time. I went to bed the first night with a headache and I woke up smelling like someone's second hand smoke. It was truly disgusting. For the price that you pay, you are not getting the quality and standard that you should. The lobbies are musky (carpet smells), the wallpaper in your room are peeling, grouting in the toilet are stained and dirty, the grates in the toilet are rusty. No curtain in the rooms, so light gets in, it doesn't bother me much but it could for some. I personally cleaned the remote control with 3 alcohol swaps because there was a clear layer of dust and grime on it, so the next person should thank me. Unless you are a smoker, I suggest you stay far away.

I think the hotel is overrated. Food is very mediocre, and overpriced. Staff is quite clueless. They woke us up by loudly vacuuming the corridors on both days of our stay, starting 7am. Not staying again. The area is nice tho!

One of the best aspects of this hotel is its strategic location, as it is within walking distance of a wide variety of restaurants. Whether you're craving local cuisine or international flavors, you'll find plenty of options just steps away. Upon entering my room, I was immediately captivated by its vintage charm. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the combination of orange and blue hues created a classy and inviting ambiance. The room exuded a pleasant fragrance, which added to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The vintage theme carried through every aspect of the room, from the furniture to the decor. It was clear that great care had been taken to create a cohesive and stylish design. The room was not only aesthetically pleasing but also comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its strategic location, vintage charm, and attention to detail. Whether you're a fan of orange and blue or simply appreciate a classy atmosphere, this hotel is sure to provide a memorable stay.

This is an elegant and sophisticated boutique hotel located a lively and trendy neighborhood. Upon our arrival, the front desk was helpful in ensuring we had the ideal room, which was comfortable and warmly decorated. For our daily breakfast, we were greeted by a kind and helpful hostess, and both the food and service were superb. During our four-day stay, we had a chance to try a wide array of dishes and they were all well-prepared. Well done! In the evenings we enjoyed the live music in the lounge and nicely made cocktails at the bar. Overall, our experience was 5 stars and we would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Jakarta.

Having corporate agreement with the Gunawarman hotel. Our guest stay for one week, check in Sunday and check out on Saturday. During the weekend, the Management already sent reminder payment to our former guess who had stayed in March 2023. The Gunawarman should aware that this is corporate agreement, meaning payment will be paid by the company on the next working day, and not during weekend. This is different with individual guess. I hope they can improve.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
