Valet parking available. Reception area clean and beautiful. You are greeted by friendly bellhop *is that still a word* and desk associates are more than professional and appreciative. Stop at the lounge if you wish or go to the outdoor bar and lounge if you want for the best libations and food. If it's cold, they have plenty of fire pits and heaters. The hotel has a restaurant to enjoy if your hungry, which cknes recommended. Rooms are clean, spacious, with beds that are so comfortable! Pillows invite you to just stay in the room, but there are so many Mag Mile and other shops ad restaurants to venture out to nearby and all within walking distance. Also take some time to enjoy all the night life availabilities nearby. There is so much to see.

Next level hotel. The concièrge, Russell, actually left the hotel and ran down two city blocks to personally escort me to a restaurant to which I had asked walking directions. Never, in my life, have I had anyone of any position from a hotel come and find me in the city streets to correct a small error. Bless this man. The level of service was far beyond anything I have ever experienced in my life. Thank you. Also, I got fresh-baked cookies upon check-in, artfully placed in a baggie with a bow. I could say more, but my stay at The Gwen really was next level. Naturally, I highly recommend it.

We had an absolutely amazing stay for a working weekend during Magnificent Mile Festival 2023. The Gwen is well situated in the Streeverville/River North area of Chicago being attached to the Shops at North Bridge. The hotel is attached via a pedestrian walkway. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. There were lobby snacks out each day of our visit and turn down service was excellent. I would put this hidden gem on par with many of the five star hotels in Gold Coast. I would highly recommend!

I get about 40-50 nights a year at Marriott properties. I'll be honest at ~$520/night after taxes, this one underwhelms. By comparison, the Ritz is 1/2 mile to the north. Roughly the same price, while the two are not in the same tier of hotel. This one does have proximity to a nice mall and high end chain restaurants, but pound for pound, a comparison of service, view, ambiance, amenities don't justify the out the door price. Comparisons hold when going up against the Four Seasons or the Waldorf, if you're not a Marriott loyalist. You could equate this one to the Drake or the Palmer House. Just wait til you find the right deal on it.

What an amazing hotel!! They catered to everything we needed. The concierge Russel was helpful, Jordy our bell man was quick, polite, on the spot helpful. The parking was so easy, no brainer. The hotel is perfectly located to Michigan Ave shopping, restaurants and red head piano bar!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
