        If you’re looking to be close to Kings Cross, the Gyle is perfectly located. Everything else was just a bus or subway ride away. The decor is what sold me on the hotel. It had an indoor outdoor living feel and the staff was exceptional. We were only there for one night and wished we’d planned a longer trip. The rooms were exquisite. I had a room in the basement that opened to a mini courtyard. We have another room on the first floor and through the courtyard we could see and talk to each other. The shower was amazing! And though the rooms were small, it did not feel like it. They did a great job maximizing the space. We were able to drop our bag before check in to explore the city and upon our return, our luggage were waiting in their respective rooms. I booked this hotel on a whim due to the location and decor but I’m glad I did because it was a gem.

        good enough for a short trip close to kings cross and therefore close to everything. easy access to public transport. the little balcony/garden to the room is probably quite nice if its not raining and cold not really much breaktfast variety some places in the room are quite dusty. you can't see most of it because its very dark, but it is there. very dark hotel in general

        The location of this hotel is great near the major train stations and it is clean with quirky cute decor and little bottles of gummy bears. The staff were all friendly and helpful. However, I thought the tiny king would be small and have a king bed. The room was indeed tiny and had a double bed. The toilet was right next to the bed with a glass wall. No elevators for suitcases to upper floors and the tiny fridge wasn't very cold. For close to $400 AU a night I would look elsewhere

        We had the worst nights sleep ever had while staying in a posh hotel, and the bar/lounge area was directly above our bedroom. The noise was from late at night, then started early in the morning for breakfast. The management is FULLY aware of this problem in this particular bedroom as a lot of other customers have complained about it on Trip Advisor!! The management is very keen to take your money to stay here but not let you know about the noise from this basement bedroom. Please read the reviews about this as you have no one else to advise you on getting a good night's sleep here!! We actually came home for a good night's sleep and felt very jetlagged and miserable. So thanks to the Gyle Hotel, we had a very poor time whilst staying here!!.

        We stayed at the Gyle for six nights and just cannot say enough good things about it. We loved everything about it. The Gyle has real personality with tons of unique touches that make it memorable and fun. We had a standard King room which is compact but the furniture is top notch and very stylish, the bed is firm and comfortable, and the layout very functional with ample storage areas. The decor is very tasteful though a tad eccentric. The staff is very attentive. Special shout outs here to Ollie, Princy, Anoosh, Shay, and Tai who bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. Ollie in particular went the extra mile for us and brings a little special british humor to every situation. Finally the location is fabulous - we loved being a little off the beaten path - a short walk to the impressive Kings Cross area. Depending on what you are looking for - this may be the place for you on your visit to London - we adore the Gyle and hope to return soon.

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

          If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.
          Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
