The whole vibe of the hideout is a bit old fashioned. We stayed in a good room, the view was great and the garden quite nice. However, the place felt like their was something missing… maybe a bar, a fire pit or a yoga platform would do the place some good. We didn’t like the food that much either. Especially comepared to some of the other places we have been to in Sigiriya. There lives a pack of dogs on the property and they where barking all through the night. Not very nice! On a good final note. The hotel manager and staff are very friendly.

Hotel is exceptionally cleaned and well maintained. Peaceful, great pool and the amazing tree house with a lovely view across the rice fields. Enjoyed lovely food with our own taste. Friendly helpful staff. Elephant safari is not far away😄. Can't wait till I go back.

A very welcoming retreat! We stayed in the treetop cabin with an incredible view over the rice paddies. The staff were so friendly and the food was very good. A lovely pool, a wonderful place to relax and felt very peaceful

the location is beautiful, but: - the mosquito nets had holes ( some were as big as my fist ) - the staff just dropped of our luggage and handed us the key ( for example they didn't say something about breakfeast times or even just tried to socialise with their guests) - more than half of the menue was not available - when we were arriving to breakfeast ( we arrived at 9:30 am because we were on the lion rock before) the food was cold, full of bugs etc and the soup looked like she stood there for ages - the pool was so milky, that you could hardly see the ground - the tree house was not cleaned correctly everything was dirty and we had a constantly dripping tab, and a very old looking and dirty carpet

Perfection. Since the moment we arrived till when left. First time visit to the The Hideout Sigiriya and its amazing.service was excellent. All team arranged best room and quality food for us. Breakfast spread was superb and well arranged. Team members are incredibly helpful and feel more comfortable.Thank you everyone for the superb service and will be back for sure.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
