        An ok stay, comfortable bed, clean and comfortable room; kitchenet washer and dryer. Nice bathroom, has good showers there. However, I had to change rooms after a sleepless night, the walls are thin thin, the sound of a whirling fan kept me up most of the night starting at 2am, nothing I could do about it. I had to work all day following that, migraine all day. After moving rooms, things were better. The breakfast is less than basic, no eggs nothing substantial only Carbs, bread and toast, forget about getting the included breakfast not worth it. The coffee was good, the staff is good to. The Internet/wifi was unreliable.

        We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Jazz Corner. The reception staff were not only welcoming but also incredibly helpful. Our room was delightful, offering a charming view of Flagstaff Garden. The hotel's location was fantastic, conveniently close to a tram stop and within walking distance of Queen Victoria Market. On the downside, we found the housekeeping staff to be somewhat inattentive to our needs. Despite booking a room for three people, we were only provided with two towels. It took a rather frustrating 5 hours and multiple requests at the reception before we received the towels, around 10:00 PM. Additionally, we encountered an issue with what appeared to be a lack of body wash in the bathroom, although it turned out there was a leak. We reported the problem, but unfortunately, no action was taken, and we were not provided with a new bottle. Consequently, we had to make do with the remaining shampoo in a mug that we had repurposed to catch the leaking liquid. Our interactions with the housekeeping department were consistently time-consuming, often taking 4 to 5 hours and requiring multiple follow-up phone calls. It's also worth noting that the room only had a mini fridge without a freezer function. Despite these inconveniences, the overall experience was positive, thanks to the friendly front staff as well as the restaurant staff, the beautiful room with a view and great location with easy acess.

        Lovely hotel. Rooms are named after jazz singers/musicians. Service was outstanding, both at reception and cafe/restaurant. Walking distance to Vic markets and CBD. Tram stop close by.

        Quirky entrance but this fits in with a very pleasant hotel. Room issue is minor but table too small to work with laptop and no power point near table anyway. Plenty of room for a better table
