I've heard a lot about this hotel and decided to try it during my time in Nepal. While it didn't quite meet my expectations, I'd like to commend the service with a 4-star rating. Cleanliness and minor maintenance issues could use improvement, such as paint and seating in the shower area falling 2 star experience. I'm hopeful that the new building construction will elevate it to a 5-star standard. Overall, it's okay. Thanks!

It's a luxury/5 star hotel and one of the oldest in Kathmandu with the most beautiful and vibrant ambience, traditional Nepali architecture. Best hotel for business or leisure stay, explore the spa, pool, garden area, beautiful lawns and a salon in the premises too, the humble staff services makes the stay more memorable. Experience and cherish the most from this luxury hotel that has to offer so much for a relaxing trip you need. The food is also very lovely, alcohol options available.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this so-called "5 star hotel," and it was nothing short of a nightmare. I feel obligated to warn potential guests about the appalling conditions I encountered during my stay. First and foremost, the leaking cistern in my room created a constant and annoying drip that kept me awake at night. The maintenance staff seemed completely oblivious to the issue, despite my repeated complaints. It's clear that they have no interest in maintaining their facilities. The state of the room was downright filthy. I could hardly believe my eyes when I entered. The kitchen and dining area were in such deplorable condition that I wouldn't dare prepare food in there. It was as if the cleaning staff had completely abandoned their duties. To add insult to injury, the toilet flush in my room was malfunctioning. I had to resort to using a bucket of water to manually flush, which is utterly unacceptable in any accommodation, let alone a supposedly reputable hotel. During a meal at the hotel's restaurant, I discovered a chipped water glass, which raises serious concerns about hygiene and safety standards. It's shocking that they would serve beverages in such a state. The pinnacle of the horror show was when I found a hair in my scrambled eggs. Instead of swiftly rectifying the situation, the staff took the plate away only to return it, with the same eggs, after "removing" the hair right in front of me. This level of negligence is inexcusable and frankly disgusting. Additionally, the staff in the dining area were incredibly loud and unprofessional. It was impossible to enjoy a meal in such an unpleasant atmosphere. In conclusion, I would strongly advise anyone considering staying at this hotel to look elsewhere. The complete lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and basic hygiene standards is simply unacceptable. It's a shame that such a place even operates under the guise of a hotel. Save yourself the headache and find accommodations that value their guests and uphold basic standards of quality.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
