The brand is great, place is great but the team wants to make money by cheating customers! When they have single bedrooms they push you for 2 bedroom apartments especially if you are alone! The apartment has got missing components like dish washer, washing machines, knives, spoons...all in kissing list in this 2.2m IDR so called Exec apartments! Never book here!

Very friendly staff. Restaurant is a bit small for buffet breakfast but have a good choices. Well located to MRT & nearby to other areas & malls. However, expect noise from the road although you are on the high floor. Sound proof is a bit lacking. Overall is a good stay! They are very responsive too.

Start with the good, the staff are excellent, well trained, attentive, things work in this hotel. Location, little awkward, taxis commonly get lost finding the back entrance after front closes. But ok Rooms are large, comfortable and very clean. However a bit tired and a little bland, very little decoration. The only real issue I had with this hotel was the breakfast. No accomodation for western tastes, no pork products (hotels of this standard will often have an area with pork for bacon and sausages etc). The western food on offer was of very poor quality. The other options likewise quality was lacking. Coffee, they need to train the guys not to heat the milk so much, piping hot not only makes it hard to drink but also spoils the flavour. Easy fix get a thermometer. I also had to get a coffee to go and the cup I was given was terrible, should get better cups. The lid didn't stay attached to the cup, given the milk was so hot, it burnt my hands, was more dangerous to keep this lid on. Overall, average at this price point.

The place was extremely well lit and well maintained. The staff were extremely helpful,kind and understanding. The afternoon concierge was helpful as so was the night. The bell person,: Okta was very very very friendly,kind and helpful with showing us where to wait and where to go to. The Marriott was housed in such a unique area of Jakarta. The cafe food was splendid as well as the security. I would recommend this place please give okta a raise!!
