I thought it was a superb hostel. You get a remote controlled bed plus nice bathroom and social area to hang out in. They serve free beer in the afternoon each day too. I had a great time with some other travelers that I met there and went out with. I highly recommend this hostel if you are looking for an affordable, fun place to stay in Kyoto.

Great value for it's price. Pods are spacious and modern with plenty of power sockets. Mine came with a projector screen which is easy enough to setup and use. Good location in town, walking distance to the river, shops, and subway stations. Only downside would be the curtain that isn't really sound proof. If you're a light sleeper be prepared to be awakened by other guests entering and leaving their pods. Met some friendly people here too, definitely a younger vibe with the occupants.

Hands down one of the top 3 hostels I’ve stayed in! ❤️ 1) concept: unlike other capsules that are crammed and tiny, each pod here is spacious enough for you to stand, has ample charging ports, and comes with a reclining bed - you can even set an alarm for the bed to rise or for the light to turn on to wake you up (sounds nice theoretically, but I personally didn’t enjoy it) - BONUS: you can even opt for a pod with a projector! Such a clever idea and perfect for winding down after a long day - I really wanted to stay in and do nothing haha 2) facilities: there’s a spacious lounge and co working space to do work while you wait before or after checking in - free flow coffee and tea (the honey tea was delicious!) was a nice touch :) - toilets and showers are also clean, and they even have a shower room with a bath tub! 3) service: the staff were all polite and very helpful. Shoutout to Kanta who was on duty during my stay for helping me figure out my car rental situation 🌟 - during check in, you are also given a bag containing a towel and other amenities that you opt for (eg slippers, comb, toothbrush) - this made the experience feel really premium and personalised, while helping the business save cost

Great location and service. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I absolutely hated the rude, disrespectful, and drunk tourist that was playing loud music and talking on her phone at 3am. Several people kept telling her to be quiet but it was useless as she was so self involved. Unfortunately since this place is popular on TikTok, you'll run into people like this. It's a shame as this capsule was very nice and safe otherwise.

The best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Very modern and luxurious. The pods were so big and spacious and the bed even reclines. And free co-working space! I’ll definitely come back.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
