During our holiday in Cape Town we spend a couple of days in the Old Foundry Hotel. The hotel is located near the city and on walking distance from the water front. There are save parking possibilities right next to the hotel. We were amazed with the kindness of the hotel staff. All the employees were really helpful and friendly. They made us feel welcome and we could asked anything. At the end of our holiday we had a stopover in Cape Town. Our next plane, got delayed and we had to kill some time. We decided to go back to the Foundry Hotel we could drop our stuff to go into the city and hangout in the lobby area. This was no problem for the even when we didn't stay here. The rooms are nice and clean and have big tv screens with all the facilities you need. The beds are big and comfortable. This is an hotel we would highly recommend. We checked into the old foundry hotel last month. Stayed there for 6 nights. It’s a very unique hotel I must say. Gives of Harry Potter vibes. It’s a cosy little hotel located near VNA waterfront in Cape Town. Rooms were nice though I must add not all rooms are the same size as some are smaller compared to others. They don’t have buffet style breakfast rather it’s a la carte. You can only order one item per person. I would suggest the hotel to add buffet style breakfast because for someone paying $1300 the least you can ask for is a good breakfast in the morning. They don’t have concierge services as they have very limited staff. They also have co working spaces if you’re the type of person who likes to work when they travel so that a plus point I guess. Overall I would give this hotel an 8/10 rating based on my stay.

Here for a makeup workship. Glitches here and there with the food. The smoothie bowls are basically smoothies so don’t expect a bowl to arrive. Not a fan of the parking area across the hotel, but I like that its basically in Greenpoint.

Staff was extremely rude.Ignored me. Rolled their eyes at me. Precious was arrogant. Did not help with luggage. It was confirmed for a early check in at 9 over messages. They could not accommodate me when I arrived. They tried to cancel my booking while I was actually at the property. I’ve had costs traveling to this hotel. While I was here guests complained about a bath tub. They were already struggle since yesterday. Still not fixed. Precious should not work with clients and definitely cannot assists clients. Everything is either booking.coms fault or not theirs. I’ve been sitting here for almost 2 hours no help.

Comfortable to sleep and work. There are many comfortable working spots with good speed interent, suitable for online meetings too. The food was delicious. The room was spacious and comfortable. There are some plumbing issue (noise), which I can forgive as it is well priced. Service is outstanding.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
