Never been in the area before but saw good reviews and location seemed prime for easy walking access to restaurants, bar and beach. While that is true, the hotel is right next to several clubs which make the noise at night unavoidable. If you plan to be to out all night- this could work, but if you plan to sleep ...you wont be able to. The hotel is dated. The rooms , towels, sheets, everything in general was old and too used. I wouldn't stay here again and didn't feel comfortable at all.

Rooms are less updated than photos suggest, though they did give us a free upgrade. We did overhear two women checking in after us that were upset that they were not given a room with two beds as they had booked - an interesting start considering we were upgraded from one bed to two. The fridge hardly worked. The air conditioning, however, did! I woke up freezing and asked the front desk for a blanket (they only provide a single sheet per bed). They said they did not have blankets. I asked for a sheet instead. They claimed they did not have any sheets. No blankets or sheets??? In a hotel??? I did not sleep that night. Not like I would have anyway, due to the loud LOUD loud house music bumping directly outside the door until 4AM each night (Sunday/Monday). Also, no ice machine. Or extra towels. They claim to have a jacuzzi but it does not work and we were told it had not worked in some time. The place would probably be quite nice with a revamp and restock of some basic hotel necessities (earplugs!). Until then, I would pass.

Our room was looking at the inside of the hotel so no direct sun light. We couldn’t even open curtains. Cleanliness was fair. Location was great. It is next to the main street which Playa del Carmen is famous with. It is close to the public beach as well. You can walk anywhere from the hotel. They have parking under the building which is great also. Stress free driving is better than everything else. They have a bar and pool at the roof. We spent there a few hours and enjoyed it.

I booked this hotel for a solo trip reading the reviews and this happened. I went to the hotel in the morning, however since the room was not ready I was told to come back at 3 pm. After returning at 3 p.m., I was assigned a room with a window to an enclosed interior corridor (not shown in the photos) that smelled musty, in addition to being dirty with other people's hair. I notified the problem to the Front Office manager Octavio, who insisted that the claims were not real, but nevertheless had another room prepared and told me to return around 5 pm. I returned at 5 p.m., and was assigned an upgraded room, which again presented cleaning and maintenance problems. I found the bed covers stained with dirt, blood as well as hairs inside the blankets, in addition to various other problems. I again notified the front desk, and asked if I could cancel the reservation (as it was prepaid) because I did not feel comfortable staying in such a place; the Front Office manager Octavio informed me that they would not do anything, and that I should forward the request through my agency. However, since the reservations department was no longer present, they would not be able to do anything until today 08/11/23. I asked numerous times if it was possible by now to leave the first night and be able to leave the day after with no positive response. I was also unable to sleep as there was a party with loud music in front of the hotel until 3am. The breakfast was also really poor comparing the price, just some fruits, box bread, milk, premade coffee, and a hot plate that was not even good. I sent multiple requests to my agency to cancel this place and they keep replying that the hotel has to request it, and the hotel is actually stating that they are not going to cancel it and only the agency can do it. I do not feel helped at all from the hotel staff, which is evidentially just caring about the money, and not the client.

Loved the location which is steps from the beach and in the middle of everything! Our room was immaculately cleaned and unbelievably spotless. The staff members at the hotel are so kind and helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop is delicious!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
