        I honestly could not have picked a better hotel. I’m an Ambassador Elite with Marriott and the extra touch is typically given with this status. The entire staff at the Pantheon was extraordinary. I stayed from Dec 22-24 and every single staff we encountered was legit phenomenal. Status is less cared about outside of the US, so it wasn’t the status. The staff treated everyone with such care and detail. I’m really impressed. This hotel should be rated higher than it is. Thanks for the amazing stay.

        We visited this hotel in early August when temps were quite warm. This hotel was such a welcome respite after a full day touring in the sun and hot temps. Beautifully appointed, robust air conditioning and attentive housekeeping all set the tone for a 5-star experience. We chose a junior suite for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) and the two king-sized beds were excellent. The front desk service was professional and friendly, and they helped us secure transportation several times. The rooftop restaurant/bar offered a spectacular view and was a wonderful place for an after dinner drink once the heat of the day passed. Due to this hotel's central location and 5-star amenities, this is not going to be a budget option for dining or drinks on the roof, but the ambiance and views are breathtaking! All-in-all, I highly recommend this property and plan to stay again when back in Rome. Perfection.

        Had been considering the EDITION or other luxury brand hotels for our stay in Rome, but what a gem The Pantheon Iconic is. We had a group event at the W and this hotel is so much nicer for a much lower price. The rooftop hotel with breakfast included is peak Italy, and the rooms are large and comfortable. The location is just close enough to walk everywhere, but still on a quiet street. Everyone we interacted with was gracious, but never overwhelming. Will definitely stay here again whenever we come back to Italy.

        Stayed on our honeymoon in August. We have Titanium Elite status with Bonvoy. This hotel did not have any upgrades available for us. No acknowledgement of of status and did not try to do anything special for our honeymoon. This was not a big deal. However, other hotels on our trip really went above and beyond to make our stay special. We Had to fight for the complimentary breakfast and late check out but eventually got them. The rooms were small but really nice and modern. We had some issues with the lights turning on in the middle of the night and early in the morning and were not able to turn them off. The lighting controls were really modern and did not seem to function properly. We called maintenance twice to have them reset the panel. The restaurants are all exceptional at this property, and the rooftop view Is amazing. I really enjoyed breakfast with views of the city and having drinks on the rooftop to wind down after exploring the city. The location was perfect. Short walks to anywhere. Was great for exploring the city All things considered we really enjoyed our stay.

        I rarely ever write bad reviews, but I could not hold myself back from writing what a disappoint this Marriott hotel was in Rome. We have been members of Marriott for over 40-years and never had such a bad experience as this one. For starters, they absolutely rob you on the wine pricing. We had been traveling in Italy for 26 days by the time we got to this Marriott dinner. At not a single meal prior to this one were we charged more than 20 euros for a bottle of wine. This Marriott rooftop restaurant did not have a bottle of wine for UNDER 60 euros on their menu. This is ridiculous. And when we asked our waitress about it, she responded with: "well this is a 5-star high class hotel. This is what you pay for." That is ridiculous Marriott. What are you doing robbing your clients in Italy when the wine is made less than 100 miles from your restaurant. And to add to this ridiculousness....The retail prices of the wine are ONE FOURTH the cost the Marriott is charging you. I understand a little mark up, but FOUR TIMES the retail cost? Come on Marriott. And what disrespect from our waitress. See photos attached. While they have a beautiful rooftop with great views, don't get too excited because for some reason they decided to orient some of their tables to point at the waiters station...see photos attached. They had an "avocado salad" listed on their menu. We had all been craving avocado after being in Italy for so long and not having any. When they brought us these salads, it did not have avocado, it had "guacamole spread." Our waitress claims that is what it was and said we read the menu wrong, even though the menu says the word "avocado" on it. Nothing like telling a customer they are wrong....great service Marriott. Additionally, the lettuce in this salad was legit RABBIT FOOD. Absolutely disgusting. We told the waitress it legit tasted like diesel and she said: "okay, that's your opinion." and took the salads away and left them on the bill at the end of the night. Got Martini's and were told they had Blue Cheese Olives for them. They brought out the Martini's, we bit into the olives, they had pits in the middle of them....not Blue Cheese Olives. Charged us on the bill for Blue Cheese Olives though. We received our pasta dinner and it WAS SERVED COLD. It was legit COLD. And we had to ask the waitress to heat it up for us. They then proceeded to make us an entire new pasta dish and then DIDN'T COOK THE PASTA ENOUGH. We did not have the heart to tell them of their failure. Overall, summary of our terrible experience: - Marriott ROBS you on the wine prices here. See photos attached. - The staff is NOT accommodating OR nice. Very rude people. A lot of eye rolls. - The food sucked. It was so far from good and so overpriced. Very sad to see from a brand that we have stood behind for over 40-years. Expected to feel at home when going to dinner here and finally comfortable outside the country. But sadly my family felt the complete and disappointing opposite.
