        Visited for the first time with the whole family. We booked a 2 bedroom town Villa with private pool . One word for this - exceptional!!! Kids loved the pool, was cleaned every day by staff. Room service was great and so was the location of the hotel. All restaurants and amenities were near by. Excellent staff and service . Buffet options could be better but overall was good The Villa was large enough for 6 people with fully equipped kitchen and all other amenities Will definitely stay here again when visiting Langkawi

        My partner and I stayed at the Riyaz Lavanya for 4 nights and were impressed with this new 5* resort in the beautiful island of Langkawi. Staff are very helpful and courteous, our room was cleaned daily and the breakfast was fantastic. Freshly cooked eggs, a salad bar, fresh bread and a range of Malaysian dishes. What we didn't know until we checked in was the complimentary lunch buffet. It's a great addition to the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food on offer here. The roof top pool is excellent and the sunbeds are really comfortable. The rooms are so modern and the lightening is just perfect. We loved this hotel and whilst there are a still a few things the hotel should consider (more attention to detail with room cleaning, the standard of service etc) to become a fantastic 5* resort, it has so much potential. We would definitely come back here again.Thank you! Room 922

        We stayed in the RIYAZ for 3 nights and it was absolutely perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The pictures do not do the hotel justice. It is absolutely stunning. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the service is phenomenal and the rooftop pool is incredible. We barely left the hotel for the 3 days. The food was also really good! Could not recommend this place enough!

        Lovely new hotel with parking and walking distance to the beach (7min) + shopping area (12-15min). Service was great. Breakfast buffet was also wonderful :) However, the water in the Jacuzzi was cold, not sure if that's a normal thing in Malaysia?

        Wanted to take a hot bath after days of traveling, then found out the water in bath tub was brown and unclear. Front desk told me it’s normal as Langkawi water supply company couldn’t solve the problem since long time. She says if I let the water flow 10 or 20 min. it will turn clear. The water didn’t turn clear after 10 min…. All Langkawi hotels are the same, she said. Not sure if other hotels are all the same, or it only happened in this hotel, Breakfast is not 5 star hotel quality, lettuce is the only vegetable in salad bar.
