Reasonable bedroom site and reasonable price. Good location, just cross the road from the Nijo station east exit, makes it easy to connect to other public transport. Just three stops to the Kyoto station. Self service check in and out. The hotel also has fitness center and spa. A pleasant smell the moment you walk into the entrance.

Pros: Really nice hotel to stay in, beds were super comfy and got several pillows to choose from in the storage room in every level. The room is quite small (not enough space to open 2 clam style luggages), but the toilet and shower were of good size. Really like the drink dispenser at the hotel lobby & there is a microwave at level 1 of lift lobby. Hotel staff were friendly. Cons: Washing machines are always occupied as people do not take out their laundry on time. It took me 2 hours to wash and dry my laundry as the combined washer dries denim jeans very slowly and there were alot of lint on my clothes... I eventually went to a coin laundry nearby the hotel as its faster and cheaper. Cannot eat outside bought bread at the lounge area, was asked to eat it in my room.

First of all, the staff is amazing! Even though there was a bit of a language barrier, we got through it and they helped me way more than I expected and asked for and did a fantastic job. If it was okay to tip here I would have tipped. The food has a wide range for everyone and is very good. The room are very very nice, the bath is HUGE and the toilets flush down by themselves. The hotel is a few minutes walk from a bus stop, a train station, an arcade and an amazing cinema. There are some restaurants and cafes in the area as well as a spa and the location is not so far from the castle and the Nishiki market. The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful and there is merch as well.

The hotel was across the street from the JR Nijo Station. There were bus stops nearby as well. There weren't many restaurants nearby. The room was basic and relatively small. But it was clean. The housekeeping staff did a good job in making beds.

The highlight of this hotel is definitely the location, you can see the building from Nijo Station platform. There are free drinks to enjoy and an onsen, which I did not use so can't comment... The hotel was great, but not the best one we stayed in Japan, mainly because the WiFi wasn't loading, so we had to use our SIM data during this stay...

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
