A hotel with a great location and great potential. Attentive and helpful staff and a fairly clean facility. The biggest problems are the old and dated rooms, the WiFi which in 4 days only worked a few hours before departure, the lack of minibar in the room, the very old and practically broken mattress, the ridiculous "location fee" and the lack of any service except a small swimming pool and a gym. For sure it's not a 4 star hotel. You can find much better for the same price and in the same area.

This is such a good hotel. I hate not giving it anything other than 5 stars. The service was really good. I enjoyed my stay at the place. I would absolutely recommend staying to anyone. They need to work on the cleanliness of the rooms, however. It was such a beautiful room, but there were too many "little spots" to ignore. It's the only thing I can say against the hotel, but it's such a big thing, that it cannot go ignored. Maybe I stayed at a room that was just not on the right side of being clean. All that being said, I'd definitely give it another chance. It's a beautiful and cozy hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Royal Sonesta River North during my first trip to Chicago, and I must say, it was an experience to remember! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The room was absolutely perfect, offering breathtaking views that left me in awe. What's more, I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade that made my stay even more special. The attention to detail in every aspect of the room, from the decor to the amenities, was impeccable. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience. The welcoming and friendly team made me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay. I can confidently say that I will never consider any other hotel in Chicago after experiencing the Royal Sonesta River North. The memories I made during my stay are something I'll cherish for a long time. Thank you, Royal Sonesta River North, for an exceptional stay. I'm looking forward to returning in the future!

Very nice hotel. My husband and I stayed here while in town for my birthday. The jacuzzi suite was very nice warm and welcoming. We always get a hotel with a jacuzzi and the one in this room by far has been the best hot tub we've ever been in. I also like that the hotel provides makeup remover towels for us ladies. The lady at the front desk with the blonde hair, I believe her name is Liz. She was very professional with awesome customer service skills. She referred my husband and I to a few good restaurants and live music in the area. After dinner and before bed I like to have a hot cup of chamomile or mint tea. She provided me with some really good tea that I'm now on the hunt for to add to my pantry. We dined at the CBR located in the hotel the night we checked in. The service was good and the ambiance was cozy and warm. We had burgers and fries which was really good. We had brunch the following day, everything was good. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again when visiting the city.

Great experience. We had to miss our first night's stay due to flight delays (terrible experience with American Airlines) but upon inquiring the hotel was nice enough to not charge us for the night we couldn't enjoy. We had come for my birthday and we were greeted in our room with a balloon, a bottle of wine and chocolates! It was terribly nice of them and we ended up thoroughly enjoying our stay. Thanks to the entire staff for giving us such a fun and stress-free vacation!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
