We loved our return to The Sands! The staff are brilliant; always smiling and eager to please. The resort has a brilliant kids aqua zone and the pool by the beach is a great option for less “child” activity! Great eating options and good variety of rooms too! We stayed in a family room which was spacious and comfortable! We would recommend The Sands to anyone looking at a trip! Quite a few local eateries within walking distance too!!

Great resort for all types- couples families oldies. Floating restaurant is OK- lots of food more than enough choice for breakfast. Nice swimming pools especially the lazy rapids for the kids. Gym games room and even babysitters and childminders. Lots of books and computers for anyone that wants to keep in touch with the outside world. Just great value for money with 2 free massages 2 dinners, free breakfast, and a cocktail hour each day. So happy people everywhere.

The hotel was for us, absolutely perfect. We travelled with a 9 and 7 yo, and the facilities and layout were perfect. But so much more than that, the staff and care we received was second to none. They were prompt and punctual, helped us with taxis and advice on places to visit, were friendly and engaging. They were safety conscious but in a patient and tolerant way. We felt we were staying with family basically, who wanted our safety and happiness. It was wonderful and I strongly recommend it.

By far one of our best family trips to date. This resort has everything you could ever want and more. The services offered are fantastic. I loved the app you can use to manage all things during your stay, from room service to ordering more room items to talking with the hotel directly. The activities offered for the kids kept them entertained all day. The staff are beautiful people and so so friendly. My son took a tumble on a slide and needed 3 stitches and the staff were so concerned for him, gave him a plate of cookies upon our return from the little hospital. Made sure to check in on him all the time. There is a little first aid room on site with a nurse so we could have them dressed and removed. This resort is located within easy reach of the town and a good taxi service available for travel to the local market which was a highlight. Nothing was ever too hard. We had a wonderful stay and wish it didn’t end!!

The hotel is very, very, very big, beautiful, impressive, all the hotel facilities, from the concierge and the staff, from the reception staff to the receptionists, who gave us very fast and welcoming service, the breakfast was very, very rich and luxurious, everything was there and we didn't lack anything. Dinner was also very luxurious, not like the dinner. The gym is also large and luxurious, very surprisingly, the fire pyrotechnics show that was next to the dining room was amazing and the kindergarten and the babysitter helped us as parents. **Disadvantage - disappointing that there is not absolute cleanliness **

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Please be aware that fulfilling these requests may result in additional charges.

The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Refund amount may take 10 working days to process to the respective account from which the payment was made during the booking.

Please be informed that your bank may debit its own separate charges from refunds made to your credit card or bank account.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
