My partner and I stayed here in October of this year and it was just one of the best experiences. The hotel is beautiful and in a prime location. Right next to Arthur's Seat if you're in the mood for a hike and within walking distance to downtown. The service was amazing, everyone was so polite and helpful and gave great advice and opinions on restaurants and things to do and see. The breakfast in the dining room was phenomenal. I still think about it! Our room was beautiful and so comfortable! I can't recommend it enough. Thank you to Greg and Freya for being so helpful! Really the only thing that may be a bit of a negative is there is no elevator so it's not wheelchair accessible. It's a historical building so it's understandable if unfortunate for anyone with a wheelchair or not able to get around easily.

The building is absolutely beautiful and rooms are all stunning inside. Unfortunately our bed was little uncomfortable due to two beds (I think) being attached together. The bathrooms beautiful, just needed something to put stuff on in shower, even if on wall opposite shower head. Far side of bedroom wasn't very well lit but just needs someone to move spotlight. Staff all very nice and couldng do enough for you. Location was little far out for me, but if you're a walker, it's perfect. Really wish the hotel itself done food in evenings. Would of been lovely to stay there and not have to venture out, although sister hotel did do evening food but we didn't try this.

Kudos to the stellar customer service here! Booked through a 3rd party, who switched our room without a heads-up. But the team at The Scholar set us up in this fantastic gatehouse at The Scott. The gatehouse is a gem, beautifully designed with luxurious amenities. Highly recommend booking at The Scott—make sure to experience the gatehouse, it's a splurge that's totally worth it. Big thanks for making our vacation awesome. Special shoutout to the wonderful Mr. Greg, who was not just lovely but also super understanding. Also breakfast was amazing!

I highly recommend The Scott Hotel in Edinburgh, located near Holyrood Park. This hotel offers a wonderful experience with its charming ambiance and exceptionally friendly staff. The location, just steps away from Holyrood Park, is perfect for those who want to explore the natural beauty of the area. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. The attention to detail and cleanliness is commendable. What truly makes The Scott Hotel stand out is the staff. They are warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Absolutely wonderful experience 10/10 recommend! Staff was wonderful, kind and helpful. The hotel is so beautiful and room was lovely and comfortable bed. Shower was hot, good water pressure, and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious with great service in the beautiful dinning room. Easy ride back into the heart of the city. We were here on our Honeymoon and the hotel staff wrote us a card and gave us a bottle of champagne. A very thoughtful and kind gesture. The staff let us use the baggage check service before and after our check in and check out due to flights.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
