The pub and restaurant was good in last year beginning as I' ve visited. But couple of days ago I went there and it was the worst experience ever at a restaurant. They charged 35% extra charges and not even mention in the menu card. And added 10% service charhe extra. The portion of the food was very small when compared to last year. Cost cutting, tax charges, service charges and upgraded food price are acceptable under SL economic condition . But it should be reasonable to the price we pay. The worst thing ever was there was no any one who eve knows the costing break down. Do not go to this place. Never recommend !

The stay here was very pleasant. Recently had the pleasure of staying here at Steuart, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the warmth of the staff and the commitment to exceptional service were evident. The place had a rat running around out in the open! The whole dining experience was ruined after our group spotted the rodent many times, darting between the indoor tables. The chilled beer glasses came with tiny insect friends at the bottom too. The servers were quite nonchalant about this. Even though the food is great value for money, the overall experience was quite negative.

Booked the room in anticipation to take the train the following morning. Initially got a 'deluxe room with courtyard view' - upon seeing the room with a small window view of what could be best described as the common foyer for the rooms on that floor, we paid extra for an upgrade. The upgraded larger room had a view of the street, which was much better. Breakfast was not included so we paid for the buffet, which was a mix of local & international foods. Quality was acceptable. Overall service was standard, not exceptional. It's a quaint hotel, but for the price of the upgraded room, i think there are better options in Colombo.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
