A popular hotel in the town. Check-in was easy and quick. Staff were friendly and helpful. I love the room as it was very clean and neat with a good view. The bed was super comfy with well maintained air-conditioning. A very good night sleep and woke up feeling so energetic. Breakfast spread was also great and delicious. The coffee machine made it perfect, I love the coffee!! To top it all off, they also have a super nice swimming pool at the rooftop, a good length with a perfect view of the sea.

Disappointed with how the room turned out compared to the photos we saw posted by the property on booking sites. This is probably the first time we had to double check if the toilet lights are faulty but it’s not. There’s only one dim light for the entire toilet but that’s not the worst. The water pressure was so low that it take a long time to shower. Overall the room is feeling and showing its age though the comfort and cleanliness is fair. Breakfast was included but it’s basic choices. For the price we paid it’s definitely way not worth it.

I have just left a scathing review to both FB and Instagram. 4 nights. So disappointed. Our first room we had to leave after flooding. Now in ROOM 1602 We have been in all day waiting for our bins to be emptied. My husband phoned housekeeping 4 times and even went down to concierge. I phoned reception and still NOTHING We are expats living in Penang 10 years and now all our friends know never to book this hotel. We gratefully leave in the morning.

The reception and lounge areas, located in the adjacent Noble hotel, create a welcoming environment, hinting at shared amenities between the two establishments. The bed’s exceptional comfort, coupled with its conducive environment ensures a restful stay. The rooftop is a standout feature, housing a captivating swimming pool. Its generous length is perfect for an invigorating swim and is set against a backdrop of breathtaking views. The hotel’s strategic location, merely a short 15-minute stroll from Mahkota Parade and Dataran Pahlawan, and just 20 minutes from the enchanting Jonker Walk, adds to its allure. The breakfast spread is commendable, boasting a rich array of pastries, salads, and local delicacies. This, combined with accommodation, forms an attractively priced package that enhances the overall value. Reflecting on a previous stay in Port Dickson, The Straits Hotel stands out as remarkably unparalleled in terms of comfort and warmth. It’s definitively my favourite, securing its place as my preferred choice for future visits to Malacca.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
