Fantastic hotel located next to Kyoto Station. It's unassuming façade belies the amazing central lobby build around a central space. Immediately one is transported form the busyness and hassle of the crowded street into a mindful quietude. The staff speaks English and are always polite, helping with restaurant booking and and gave good advice on train booking. It was a normal king size bed-room. The room is large and clean, and has a nice floor space enough to do some exercise. Housekeeping is responsive with requests and it was most enjoyable when they send things to your room with the little very polite robot! Do also go admire the lobby of the ornate and similarly beautifully appointed sister hotel next door - The Century Kyoto.

The hotel is conveniently located next to Kyoto Station. The frontdesk is friendly and efficient. The lobby is spacious and aesthetically pleasing to the tired eyes of traveller who have flown for more than 7 hours from KL to Kyoto. The room is spacious by Japanese standard. We love the separate shower/bathroom and toilet cubicle. Wardrobe is big too and we have ample space to open up 2 large suitcases and 2 small ones. Lighting and AC are controlled by iPad. TV channels are mostly in Japanese. The bed and pillows are the best! They had indoor onsen for guests but it's chargeable. The most amazing thing when we checked out, they facilitated the delivery of our baggage from Kyoto to Sapporo so we could travel with ease via Shinkansen without our heavy baggage.

Locations of this hotel scores a diamond; a very short walk of about 5 mins from Kyoto Station exit You’ll be greeted with friendly and helpful staffs. The hotel screamed luxury although it’s a 4 stars hotel. The size of the room is decent. Would like for you to add a proper Onsen experience on top of your public bath / spa.

We stayed at this hotel the longest on our trip. The location was incredibly convenient since it was by the station. However, for the cost per night, there were no amenities. The hotel felt hollow- nice on the outside, but not really worth it. The breakfast was fairly unpleasant compared to other hotels we stayed at that were less expensive.

Newly built hotel, right next to Kyoto station making it a very convenient location to travel around by train or bus. Hotel common area is very beautiful and instagrammable. Breakfast buffet has a decent spread of veg and non veg items. Staff is pleasing and helpful. Overall very comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
