My husband and I had a good experience at the Wayfarer for the three nights we were in Los Angeles visiting family. The area of downtown is fine. The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants and popular bars. The front staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. We got a $25 daily food tab that is charged as a destination fee, so it is a way to get your money back. The coffee and pastries are exceptional and the rooftop bar is a must for the views and top notch service. The parking garage is very close to the hotel but is pretty run down. The hotel lobby and rooms were really impressive as far as modern amenities and comfort. The rooms are small but since we were just using the hotel for sleeping the size did not bother us. We booked this hotel for value and even with the destination fee it still felt like a good deal. I would have rated higher if the parking structure was also modernized and if the destination fee was included in the room rate instead so it does not come as a surprise at check-out.

Dirty rooms Pubic hair in the shower Empty shampoo bottles Extremely uncomfortable beds Tiny rooms Way overpriced for the tiny , dirty closet the call a room. No joke, my walk in closet is bigger. I don't know how this is considered a 4 star hotel. I've stayed in amazing suites for cheaper. This place is not worth more then $50 a night. I'm in actual pain after sleeping on the bed. I tried calling that night and was told I needed to pay an extra $150 a night for more comfortable beds. How is $643 not enough? Felt like I was thrown in a closet. I will never come back here.

I would give "The Wayfarer Downtown LA" a 3.5 rating based on our experience. The location was great since it was centrally located. The hotel lobby was nice, but the room was too small. We did not like the sliding bathroom door, and there was no closet space. By contrast, the breakfast was delicious and the portion was very generous.

The hotel has everything you need for a short stay. I stayed overnight for an award show nearby at LA Live. The location was convenient for that. I love the decor/finishings at the hotel, the room was small but very clean! We brought our dog, and they were very pet friendly. The room does not come with a mini fridge, which we needed for our dog's food, but we called the front desk and they had someone bring one right up for us. The staff was super accommodating for anything we needed. The only thing to note is to figure out parking beforehand, as they state there is not on-site parking owned by the hotel. I would stay again and would love to try the rooftop next time.

Being in the city center might appeal to young travelers, but it's definitely not recommended for family trips. Parking is a hassle as it's in the adjacent building's tower, which feels quite unsafe. The rooms are extremely cramped, lacking even a fridge. The beds shown in the pictures take up so much space that there's barely any room to move around. The staff is unfriendly and the customer service is terrible—they even hang up on inquiry calls. The rooftop area is noisy until late at night, making it impossible to sleep, and the soundproofing is ineffective. Additionally, the breakfast times provided didn't match the actual service hours, causing us to miss breakfast on some days. However, when available, the breakfast itself was tasty. They run out of ingredients quickly, leading to unavailable menu items. Overall, this was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
