My first time here at the Westin Downtown Houston. I can say this is honestly the best hospitality and level of service I have ever seen at any hotel. I travel for work often and have stayed at a lot of properties around the country. Nothing compares to the level of service their staff provided every night and day of our stay. From the front desk making sure we were happy with our room, to the restaurant staff making us fresh eggs when we showed up late to breakfast. The kitchen even stayed open late night for room service after it was supposedly closed for the late night serving. They aim to please and it was noticeable by us and the group we travelled with. I was even working in the lobby, waiting for a later flight out and the bar staff checked on me several times throughout the day to see if I was comfortable and needed anything. Top notch service staff. Location is ideal. Rooms are nice and updates are being made. The ceiling fan in the room was one of my favorite extras that you don’t normally see.

I had a 1-night business trip in downtown Houston and this was a last-minute booking. Upon arrival, I was greeted twice before I even stepped foot into the lobby by the Valet and Door Man. The check-in process was smooth and quick, allowing me to get to my room and relax for a few minutes before attending a dinner that evening. The room was a spacious Junior King Suite, complete with a tub and a separate shower in the large bathroom. I was especially excited to see a ceiling fan in the room, cause if you're from Texas you know that those are often necessary! Although I didn't utilize the service, I even noticed that you could rent a large, dual-display workstation in case you needed to get some work done in your room. That would have been a very cool option had my stay been several days! After my evening event, which I didn't even have a chance to eat at, I was starving and came back to the hotel. Cameron and Kat in the lobby bar made me feel most welcome and crafted a delicious old-fashioned while I decided what I would order. I was impressed with their selection of Texas whiskeys and not just the typical bottles like Jack, Jim, and Johnny, though I'm sure they had those too. The chicken quesadillas hit the spot for something quick and easy. The next morning on my way out the door, my hands were full and before I even made it to the door, the GM, Brian, was there to grab a bag and open the door. It's clear to me that commitment to outstanding customer service is shared by the entire team at this hotel. Overall the entire experience was fantastic from check-in to departure. I'd highly recommend if you are looking for a convenient location in Downtown Houston, especially if you're ever attending an Astros game or want something walkable to the light-rail system or GRB Convention Center.

While I haven't stayed at the hotel. The restaurant inside was great! The wait staff was very attentive, and food was delicious with very large portions! It's a great spot to eat before an Astros game.

Overall, a great hotel. First the positives: Location (proximity to Minute Maid), fantastic service (everyone from valet to restaurant staff was great), cafe (food was fantastic and actually pretty reasonable for downtown), white tea fragrance. Drawbacks: Rooms. Probably not an issue for one or two people but with four, the best option for a room that didn't mean sleeping on a sleeper sofa was two doubles. That made everything feel cramped combined with the fact that the beds were creaky and loud every time you would get in/out made for a less than stellar experience. (Not to mention there was no upgrade offered despite a Bonvoy elite status which warranted it - presumably for the reason stated above though? Hotel did not seem at capacity.) On a minor note, I miss the little shampoo bottles and bar soap at Westin properties. The bottles attached to the wall, while I'm sure save money for the hotel, feel cheap and slightly suspect. Not what I'd expect from a Westin property.

Check-in was smooth, staff was very friendly, very nice clean rooms, food was delicious, bar area was very nice and clean. Highly recommend staying here if you are going to an Astros game.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
