Highly recommend this property! Beautifully remodeled but lots of history and traditional Japanese charm and hospitality. Lovely rooftop garden and views of Kyoto. Spa and onsem (hot springs baths) are a big bonus, relaxing and lovely. Breakfast offers many western and Japanese options - buffet style. Amenities and service could not be nicer. Everyone is kind, helpful and gave us great advice. We had a Junior Suite which was beautiful and spacious. They also have a ‘satellite’ concierge at Kyoto Station so if you arrive via train, they have à complimentary shuttle and luggage storage space.

From the moment you walk into this gorgeous hotel, you are treated like royalty. I booked a junior suite room on the club level and was not disappointed. Everything was new, clean, and comfortable. The staff were impeccable in their manners and helpfulness and professionalism. This hotel is a fraction of the cost of the Ritz Carlton Kyoto (where I have not stayed, though I have stayed at the Ritz in other cities), and Westin Miyako was every bit as classy and comfortable as one would expect at an RC. Would definitely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

I had an incredible experience here and absolutely loved it. The breakfast is hands down one of the best I've ever had in Japan. I must admit, it's not a cheap hotel but it has incredible value. The facilities they offer are great but it's unfortunate they have very strict times of usage. Given how beautiful the hotel is, the pool looks very mediocre as well. The gym was great although you are limited with the dumbbells to only 20kg, still it's good and complete. What I see a lot of people miss in this post is the shrines and gardens. The hotel offers all sorts of amenities and I enjoyed the quick birdwatching hike. What's incredible is that it is so private you can immense yourself in the forest. Kyoto is full of tourists so it can be hard to get that immersion with nature. Lastly, it is true that if you have tattoos you can't enter the spa. This is just a part of Japanese culture and they are very strict about it throughout the entire country. Just keep this in mind if you have tattoos.

Exceptional service from every staff member; well appointed, impeccably clean room. Location is excellent for exploring Kyoto on foot or to catch the local train. Shuttle bus was convenient for trips to and from the main station. Pool and related facilities were pleasant and clean. Beautiful gardens on site - be sure to take some time to enjoy them. Breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent- except the baked goods (bread, croissants, etc.) which were sub-par. Will definitely stay here again.

It’s a hotel with history but with modern renovations. Was upgraded to a Junior suite. The room was big with separate toilet, vanity area, shower place and walk in closet. The amenities were high quality and luxury! The rooftop garden and other facilities were very impressive with beautiful autumn color…

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
