During my stay, I encountered a minor issue that required attention from the customer service team. To my delight, they addressed my concern with efficiency and genuine care. Their action not only resolved the problem but also left me feeling valued as a guest. The room was clean, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring San Diego.         Our stay at the Westin Hotel in San Diego was fraught with issues from the start, leading to a deeply disappointing experience. Unsettling Room Intrusion: Upon settling into our room, we were startled when a woman entered using her own key. She appeared confused and asked if we had checked in, explaining that our room was still marked as available. This incident raised serious concerns about our privacy and security. Heating System Malfunction: The day was exceptionally cold, and to our dismay, we found the room's heater wasn't working. After reporting the issue, the staff promised to send an engineer. However, an hour passed with no word from the hotel staff, so we sought refuge from the cold in the lobby. Eventually, we were informed that the door's keypad malfunctioned, preventing both us and the staff from accessing the room. Inadequate Response and Room Change: The shift manager eventually addressed the issue, offering apologies and having security open our room. We hastily moved to another room, only to discover that its heater was also non-functional. We were then informed that due to ongoing renovations, the heating system was not working in several rooms. Vacation Cut Short: By 9:30 pm, with the situation unresolved and the shift manager indicating there were no available rooms with a working heater, we faced the disheartening reality that our vacation was ruined. In light of these circumstances, we made the difficult decision to cancel our vacation and return home. The overall experience at the Westin Hotel was not only disappointing but also distressing, marked by a serious lapse in security, inadequate facilities, and a lack of effective problem resolution. This stay was a far cry from the quality and comfort we expected from the Westin brand.

        What a great location to work and play! The staff go out of their way to make sure guests have a great experience. Alberto, the front desk manager, is a huge asset to Westin! He really took great care of us and remembered my name throughout our week-long stay. The managers of the bar and restaurant were also very personable and accommodating. Keep up the great work!

        I used one of my Bon Voy free night awards this week while I was trying a case across the street. I've got a 20 year history with this building- my ex had her office here back in 2001. Hadn't been inside or stayed at the hotel since 2017. It was as I remembered, generally speaking. They stuck me in one of their weird corner rooms which wouldn't have flown with my partner but was fine for going to bed at 10 and getting up at 5. The bed was amazing, always is at a westin. They still have the old coffee tray thing that has to be a 30 year old design at this point. Shower was great. Ok for business but not a good place for a couples stay.

        Hotel was centrally located although I did find that a lot of nearby restaurants had boarded up during Covid. The room was good - loved the lavender balm amenity, lots of ports in the room to plug in as needed, green option offered on bedding, etc., and the a/c was quiet. The bar in the lobby was nice; staff was friendly. They kindly gave me silverware to take to my room as my takeout didn't have any. I did arrive before my room was ready and the front desk stated that they would notify me when it was ready. I waited for 2 hours (lobby is nicely situated for working) until I asked again. Room was ready; was not notified. Would stay here again.

          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
          The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.
