Arrived here new to town. Was planning on staying for a few weeks but checked out after a day and a half. This hotel is so very filthy!! NOTHING in my room was clean and I do mean nothing. The entire hotel was incredibly filthy. There was a group of men aged approximately 17 to 35 that wore all black and all day and night they stood outside the entrance ways to the hotel smoking marijuana. The person in the room next to mine smoked marijuana nonstop, this caused my room to smell of it. This area is also very sketchy and unsafe. There are two other hotels in this same lot and they have the exact same problems as well. I do believe these men are living at these hotels. I saw “stuff” being sold and given to numerous people while here. I did not feel safe here at all. It’s a real shame too because the hotel is only a few years old and I am sure it was nice until they let it go. It looks like it has never been cleaned since it opened. Also there was a weird smell in the hallway my room was on. Can’t place the smell but it stunk. The hallway leading to the outside door had a bad smell of bleach and urine. This place just has way too many problems. The employees are doing absolutely nothing about any of this.

My husband and I stayed here the evening of the 2nd after driving all day. We have been in CA. For 5 weeks touring the coast. I can honestly say this was the dirtiest place we stayed. ( I took pictures). The sofa smelled so bad of body sweat you couldn't even sit on it and the carpet was filthy. Don't get me started on the bathroom. There was more long black hair on the floor and in the sink NASTY. "BURGERS" on the shower walls along with more black hair whichI wiped out before using. This place is 2 years old and could use an overhaul who uses white every throughout the room and never cleans it 😝 could go on but I think you get the picture. Would not recommend this place at all. Very disappointed with Marriott.

Stayed at this location for one visit. Good experience. Clean rooms, nice staff, free parking, close to Cal Poly campus and local stores. I’d recommend this location. Free breakfast and coffee in the AM. Fresh eggs and sausages as a recommendation in the future. I’m sure crazy food prices impact breakfast choices. Overall great visit. 😉❤️👍🏾

Super nice staff! Hotel is clean and kitchen is fully stocked with plates, silverware, pots, pans and glasses. There’s even a dishwasher and microwave. There’s a 24hour gym with filtered water machine. Light breakfast with a variety of options to choose from, coffee /tea service available day and night. spacious seating in/out. Guest laundry is a plus. I’d be happy to stay here anytime. I gave 5 stars not because it’s excellent but because they deserve the shout out.

Booked a king suite room for $179 2 months in advance. We arrived and are told the total is $200, which we immediately knew wasn’t correct. Upon checking the reservation they changed us to 2 queens without asking and demanded MORE than what we should’ve been charged for a bigger bed. We asked to speak with management, and we’re told they couldn’t give us a king, and that for a single queen the price was now more than what our reservation was for. So not only did we fly in from out of state, and get bait and switched, but we actually had to go down the street to another hotel because they couldn’t honor their own reservation. Do yourself a favor, go to La Quinta. They’ll honor the prices they quote. This hotel is scummy, and staff is unwilling to assist when they decide to try and rob you. Thanks for ruining our trip, our evening, and making us miss dinner with family. Will never stay with a Bonvoy Hotel again.
